General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) might get a new chance at romance. Will the Monte Carlo adventure duo get together for real?
GH fans know Olivia and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) have been facing issues for quite some time. Although Ned and Olivia seemed to be making progress for a while, they haven’t been on truly solid ground in what feels like forever.
Now this Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) drama has popped up, so it’s making it even harder for Olivia and Ned to see eye to eye. Ned will likely convince Olivia that Leo needs a specialist after all, but that doesn’t mean their marriage will magically be fixed.
Olivia has seen the true Quartermaine colors one too many times and may be ready to move on.
If the show does intend to try something different, Robert would be a great option. Now that Robert is back in the mix, this is a great opportunity to give him another shot at a romance with Olivia.
GH viewers will recall how Olivia helped Robert on a Monte Carlo trip back in 2020.
They had some fun casino scenes where Olivia got to be a bit of a Bond girl. Olivia even pretended to be on her honeymoon with “Liam” aka Robert as part of the mission.
Of course, social media was quickly abuzz with praise over this possible couple.
Olivia and Robert earned many fans right off the bat with their cute chemistry and funny banter. It felt like these two had serious potential, but the show ultimately did nothing with it.
That’s a shame considering it’s been over a year and Olivia is no closer to a happy marriage.
Robert is still single too, so the show might as well give him a shot at pursuing something with Olivia. Don’t Robert and Olivia deserve to at least give things a try?
Olivia recently suggested it may be time to start talking about divorce. That could come up in Olivia’s upcoming conversation with Robert.
On November 12, Robert will catch Olivia off guard. He’ll question Olivia about something and back her into a corner when it comes to offering a fast answer.
Robert might want to know if Olivia can envision herself with someone else – or if she thinks she’ll be happier away from Ned. It’d be interesting if Robert and Olivia reflected on some Monte Carlo memories while they were at it.
Bottom line, Olivia’s marriage to Ned is worse than ever. She’s also about to land in Robert’s orbit for some new scenes, so maybe Robert and Olivia shippers have some hope!
