General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) may object to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) spending time with Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri). Jason’s freedom and new romance could easily set up some family drama down the road.
GH viewers know Jason’s growing closer to Britt on the run – and he’ll no doubt help her conquer this health crisis in the end. There’s a good chance Britt has misdiagnosed herself and actually has something far less serious than Huntington’s disease.
The show’s building up a great new pairing for Jason, but will his old love interest stand in the way? Sam’s jealousy could easily cause some problems along with her overall view of Britt. It’s no secret that Britt’s done some shady things and made some huge mistakes.
However, Jason has tried to make up his own mind about Britt. He never lets anyone think for him or tell him how to feel about something. As a result, Jason has formed a connection with Britt that’s only going to get stronger from here.
Once Jason’s a free man and can pursue a future back in Port Charles, Britt is poised to be the woman he chooses. Sam has made it clear where she stands when it comes to Jason’s dangerous lifestyle. She had to walk away and try to give her children a safer, more normal existence.
However, that doesn’t mean Sam intends to cut Jason out of the picture entirely. Sam wouldn’t do things like bring Danny to GH for a visit with Jason if she was shutting him out.
Sooner or later, Jason will deal with Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) threat and establish a more peaceful life in PC. There’s always going to be mob drama to contend with, but Jason can at least enjoy more time with the kids once things are settled. Britt may become part of the package as Jason’s latest love interest.
As Jason’s relationship with Britt progresses, Sam might have concerns about Britt getting too close to Danny and Scout. Sam might feel a bit threatened in her role as a mother as well as worried about Britt’s old bag of tricks. In other words, the thought of Britt playing a stepmom-type of role may bring some objections!
This could easily lead to tension between Sam and Jason, who’s becoming more protective of Britt every day. We’ll fill you in as other news and updates emerge.
