General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, November 16, teases that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) seems poised to face a minor medical setback while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) faces a troubling phone call. Olivia Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will also get a surprise thanks to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so let’s discuss what’s coming up on Tuesday’s show.
On Cassadine Island, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do some strategizing and will let Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) know everything’s going to be OK.
Britt will be nervous about what Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is cooking up, but Jason will feel like they’ve got the upper hand now that they know all Peter’s activation secrets.
The goal will be to get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to stand down once Peter’s next assignment is underway. Of course, Peter will have other ideas when he reconvenes with Drew and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Peter will warn that Drew’s going to complete his mission or die trying, so that’ll leave Drew with some concerns.
It’s tough to believe Peter will want to let Jason out of this mess alive, so he may finally pull the trigger on ordering Drew to kill his brother.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will push Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to give her some Deception shares.
In fact, Gladys will want enough to give her a controlling interest in the company, but Brook Lynn won’t be able to meet that demand.
As a result, Gladys will be fed up and ready to get in touch with Valentin about Brook Lynn’s paternity lie.
While Brook Lynn panics, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will put on a nice act around Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Esme will pretend she’s rooting for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to succeed, but she’ll actually be hoping for an epic disaster.
Esme will want an unforgettable night for Trina, so she might derail the National Geographic Photo Ark exhibit opening with some boobytrap or other dirty trick.
There’s the potential for Esme’s plan to go wrong and perhaps scare Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) into labor!
GH spoilers say Sasha will deal with a situation that leaves her in a real bind. She’ll need plenty of help at the gallery soon, so her baby may come sooner than planned and at an inopportune time.
Until then, there’ll be some other concerns that pop up at the gallery.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will seem uneasy over Nikolas’ phone call, which could easily involve demands from a newly freed Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Nikolas assured Ava that things were settled with Victor and that no debts were owed, but something tells us he’ll be wrong about that!
Ava won’t give Trina all the details, but she’ll voice some vague fears before they both turn their attention back to the opening.
Joel Sartore is the fantastic photographer who made this exhibit possible, but he’ll give Trina and Ava plenty of credit for their roles in bringing it all together.
Viewers will hear Joel say a few words about his photos and what this project means to him, but Olivia will also get a private conversation with him at some point.
Although Ned isn’t on the best of terms with Olivia right now, he’ll still offer this sweet gesture as a surprise.
Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) will enjoy the exhibit with Ned and Olivia, so we should see some warm family moments as well. The tension should start to lift between Olivia and Ned, so maybe there’s hope for them to heal their marriage.
At the hospital, Valentin will land in a hospital bed again, so there may be a small medical setback due to stress.
It won’t be anything major, but it’ll give Valentin a chance to linger at GH with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and grumble about Victor scoring his freedom.
What really matters now is finding Peter, so Anna may remind Valentin of the task at hand. We’ll bring you updates as other news becomes available.
