Special Agent in Charge Tennant was called in for a Jane Doe. The victim was called Jane Doe because she had no identification on her and her fingerprints couldn’t be read. However, Tennant and her team were lucky in one sense. They found someone who recognized the victim. The victim was later identified as Kathy Laster and she’s a protestor. She was protesting Hawaiian land being occupied by the military. She was a part of a group of eco-activists called World Works and they wanted to return the land back to the Hawaiian people. It was a bit of an uphill battle because no one took the group seriously until they started throwing Molotov cocktails and even then they had a hard time not getting arrested. And so Kathy went to Hawaii to help protest against a tech billionaire buying up reserved/sacred land.

Kathy protested in front of the billionaire’s house. The billionaire was Damien Davenport. It seems Kathy was out of his house everyday for a month and yet the billionaire didn’t recognize her and neither did his security team. Speaking of which, both parties tried to put the blame for Kathy’s murder on World Works. Davenport and his security team claimed the activists were extremists. They said the group was the real danger and that turned out to be funny because the team later found the head of the security beating someone tied to a chair. Tillman said the guy fell when he broke onto the property. He also said he was wearing gloves to protect himself from the guy he claims just fell and was in fact bleeding. And Tillman just happened to know the man he was “interrogating” was friends with Kathy.

The team collected the friend. They asked him questions and he said he didn’t hurt Kathy. He thinks the rich guy and his team killed Kathy. Kathy was all set to protest when suddenly she stopped. Which is odd because she was also paid to protest. Kathy was hired by Davenport’s wife to come to Hawaii. The team tried questioning Morgan Davenport and she wasn’t talking. She was followed by her lawyer everywhere she went. Her public persona was that of a charitable person because she gives millions away. But Morgan hired a woman to come out to the island and protest against her husband. She was paid before she even came to the island and so why did she stop? The team has a theory. They suspect that Morgan hired Kathy to seduce her husband.

Morgan and her husband were separated. She was shown meeting up with a divorce attorney and so everyone thought Morgan hired this woman in order to get a bigger settlement in the divorce. What Morgan didn’t count on was that Kathy would just stop. The team got a hold of paparazzi photos and they found out that Davenport was a serial cheater. The team asked Morgan to come in. They questioned her in front of her lawyer and her lawyer made sure to remind Morgan that Davenport still wants to hold onto his secrets. But the team kept digging. They found out that Kathy was Davenport’s daughter. A secret child that Davenport has kept hidden. At his first company, he got too close to one of the women he works with and so she left the company and had Kathy six months later.

Kathy is Davenport’s child. But he doesn’t care. Davenport paid off the mother to keep him out of it and he hadn’t wanted to jeopardize his marriage because there was some overlapping with both Morgan and Kathy’s mother. The mother couldn’t prove Kathy was his without a DNA test. Morgan provided that DNA test. She really did want to screw over her husband and she was going to use the secret child to get out of her marriage, but then Kathy was killed and no one knows why. Davenport was the biggest suspect. Everyone believed he killed his own daughter. Even Kathy’s friend Mike also assumed her father was the killer and the team came to suspect that he was planning something against Davenport. The team went to Davenport’s home. They were witness to an explosion and there they learned that Mike had taken both Davenport and his wife hostage.

Mike wanted Davenport to confess. Davenport refused to because he said he didn’t kill Kathy and then his security team came in and Tillman shot Mike. Tennant and her team made sure that Mike was going to the hospital. But they found their killer. The killer was Tillman. Tillman has been guarding Davenport’s secrets for years and he tried to bribe Kathy to leave and she refused. And so that’s when he killed her.

Davenport tried to get ahead of the story. He asked for sympathy and compassion as he lost a child. He’s also going through a divorce and odds are he’ll be ousted from the company soon.

Tennant meanwhile went on a date with Millius and it went really well, but now he’s being promoted to the Pentagon and so this will be the last they see of each other in a while.

The End!
