The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will get some news that’s quite difficult to hear. Steffy will undoubtedly break down in tears as she admits she betrayed Finn with her ex-husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Finn will find out that Steffy’s pregnant and uncertain of the baby’s paternity, so it’ll be a lot for poor Finn to take in!
However, Finn will eventually wrap his head around Steffy’s updates and start considering his next moves. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will have to make some tough decisions about what his future’s going to look like. If Steffy’s baby ends up belonging to Liam, that certainly complicates things even more.
Liam is already over at Steffy’s place all the time due to co-parenting Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray). Finn understands and respects that, but what if Liam and Steffy end up with yet another kid to co-parent? That’s just going to mean more time together and more chances to bond.
Finn may feel like he’s always going to have to worry about Liam and Steffy’s connection. What’s to stop Steffy and Liam from sleeping together again down the road? Steffy may assure Finn that her hookup with Liam was the last one ever, but how can he know for sure?
Since B&B writers are choosing to shatter the trust between Finn and Steffy, it’s going to change their relationship until that trust can be rebuilt – that is if Finn’s willing to try. Once Finn comes to grips with the situation, he may determine that it’s just too complicated for him.
Even if the baby belongs to Finn, he may feel like the lack of trust will affect their child. If Finn continues his relationship with Steffy and they’re always fighting about Liam, he may fear their son or daughter will get hurt along with Kelly.
With all this in mind, it’s easy to imagine Finn insisting that they’re done. Finn may vow to step up and be a good father, but it’ll have to be a situation where they merely co-parent – not one where they build a life together.
Of course, we have to remember that Finn will be hurting in the aftermath of Steffy’s revelation. Time tends to heal all wounds on soaps, so Finn could certainly change his mind down the road!
