The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, July 19, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) were named co-CEOs in a new article, which led to this dad fearing Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fury.
At Forrester Creations on Monday’s B&B episode, Brooke had a photoshoot for a new article, which Ridge eventually joined in on for a few fun shots. Later, Brooke revealed a surprise since the article celebrated her love and relationship with Ridge.
Ridge noticed a mistake in the headline, which referred to Brooke and Ridge as the co-CEOs of Forrester Creations. He said that needed to be fixed and didn’t think Steffy would be happy about it, but Brooke looked rather pleased.
At home, Steffy thought John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) push to get married right away was romantic, but she wondered if he really wanted to rush into this. Steffy pointed out that she hadn’t even met Finn’s family yet and worried there was some reason Finn didn’t want to have a big wedding.
Finn expressed concern that maybe Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was the holdup for Steffy, but she assured Finn that Liam was merely Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) father. Liam would always be in their lives, but Finn was the man Steffy wanted.
Steffy looked forward to Finn’s parents coming to Los Angeles so she could meet them, but Finn looked uneasy. Meanwhile, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) wrapped up a call about putting some stuff in storage. She told Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) that she hadn’t found a new place of her own yet and added that Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) lease was up.
Paris didn’t blame Zoe for not wanting to come back to LA anytime soon. She reflected on how bad Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) betrayal with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) was – and Zende agreed it was a miracle that Carter still even worked there.
At Carter’s loft, Quinn decided that if this was their last moment together, they should continue to make the most of it. Quinn admitted she felt free from being Mrs. Eric Forrester and from feeling like she was never good enough.
Carter assured Quinn that he wouldn’t stop thinking about her and what they meant to each other, even if they couldn’t be together. Quinn suggested Carter would move on with some beautiful model one day, but that wasn’t what he wanted.
“What do you want?” Quinn asked before Carter dove in for another kiss. That escalated to lovemaking as they focused on living in the moment. Quinn knew she should be mourning the end of her marriage, but she felt so at peace. She didn’t want to ruin anything for Carter, but she knew this had to end eventually.
Quinn insisted they would have to share their last kiss and say goodbye. “Just a kiss?” Carter said with a grin. That led to passion erupting between Carter and Quinn once again.
