The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, July 29 Recap – Quinn Tells Eric That Putting Brooke First Ruined Marriage

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 29, reveals that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) slammed Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) marriage mistakes after Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) threatened to call security on the unwelcome visitor.

At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s B&B episode, Eric checked out a new design on a model and got praise from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Now that Eric had ended his marriage, he was focusing on his art.

Brooke commented on how free Eric seemed since he said goodbye to Quinn, but Quinn walked in and suggested she got the boot a bit more harshly than that.

The sight of Quinn brought instant anger for Brooke, who argued Quinn wasn’t allowed in the building.

After Brooke insisted Quinn had very strict orders to stay away, she pushed Eric to back her up.

Quinn admitted her badge still worked and added that she wanted to drop off her latest designs in person. She asked to speak with Eric alone since she didn’t want to stand there and be demonized by Brooke.

Brooke tried to forbid the one-on-one meeting and even threatened to call security, but Eric said he could handle it.

Ridge and Brooke wound up stepping in the other room, where they informed Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) of Quinn’s arrival.

Brooke wanted Carter to move the divorce along and asked if she was making him uncomfortable when he averted his eyes.

Ridge thought it was natural for Carter to feel uncomfortable under the circumstances and told Quinn to give the guy a break.

Brooke was just glad Carter came to his senses and told Quinn he wanted nothing to do with her. She hoped that’s what Eric was telling Quinn now, too.

Brooke insisted that Carter should find time in his busy schedule to make the divorce happen – the sooner, the better.

Once Carter was alone, he looked at a press release with Quinn’s picture on it. That led to some flashbacks of intimate moments with Quinn.

Back in the main office, Eric wondered if Quinn wanted to deliver another apology.

Quinn insisted that wasn’t why she was there. She also told Eric that she hadn’t hired a divorce attorney and would accept whatever settlement he offered.

That surprised Eric, but Quinn assured him she was never after his money and could take care of herself.

Eric didn’t doubt that – and Quinn didn’t doubt his sense of fairness.

The real problem was Eric’s inability to defend Quinn since he always sided with Brooke and his family over his wife.

Eric pointed out there was no excuse for turning to another man. Quinn argued that Eric kept shutting her out – all because he hated the way she went against his “precious Brooke.”

Eric corrected that he hated how Quinn betrayed Ridge and his family, but Quinn thought he allowed Brooke to vilify her day after day.

Since Eric had absolved so many others over the years, Quinn wondered why he couldn’t find it in his heart to forgive her.

Quinn acknowledged that the affair was a mistake, but she refused to be defined by it. Quinn noted that she turned to Carter for a reason.

“So you’ve said,” Eric snapped. After Quinn said she was done apologizing, she argued that Eric never defended her.

Eric countered that he stood up for Quinn from the very beginning, but Quinn didn’t see it that way. She didn’t feel protected or cared for – and their marriage lacked warmth and intimacy.

Quinn said she owned her mistakes, but she felt she was walking away knowing she gave the marriage everything she had.

Quinn tried to be a Forrester, but she shrugged that maybe she just wasn’t cut out for being queen.

Quinn acknowledged that her portrait had come down, but she was being true to herself for the first time in a long time. She declared that she was proud of the woman she was becoming.

At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) discussed wedding plans.

Steffy didn’t really care about the details as long as their families were involved. She was eager to meet Finn’s parents and started asking questions about them, but Finn suggested they enjoy the moment instead of planning.

Things took a passionate turn on the couch, but Finn and Steffy eventually got back to the task at hand.

Finn called Steffy a free spirit and felt something non-traditional would work best, so she figured out he was angling for a quickie wedding again.

Steffy adored Finn’s enthusiasm, but she really wanted her family there and hoped to meet Finn’s family as well.

Steffy gushed about how Finn’s parents made him who he was and couldn’t wait to meet his mom and dad. Finn hugged Steffy, but he had a troubled expression over her shoulder.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy’s in for a shock soon, so stay tuned! CDL’s where you want to be for sizzling Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to check back often.
