Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) could return from the dead and become the sinister new leader who takes charge of the Kiriakis family. DOOL fans know Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) has retired and isn’t all that involved in Titan or anything else these days.
Victor is always happy to pull strings for beloved family members – like when he made sure Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was able to get her recent annulment.
However, Victor has mostly taken a step back from business as well as the shady underworld the Kiriakis clan used to be involved in.
Now Victor’s mostly interested in spending time with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and enjoying some peace.
Of course, Victor has earned that right after all these years, but his retirement leaves a devious Kiriakis void.
Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) certainly has a sinister side, but he’s also proven he can be soft when he wants to be – perhaps too soft!
Not to mention Xander is an impulsive wildcard who often makes messes worse.
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) isn’t a worthy successor to Victor either, so who’s going to keep the Kiriakis clan relevant?
Who could make sure the Kiriakis clan remains a true force to be reckoned with in Salem?
Deimos would be a great option – and there were plenty of hints he might be coming back from the dead last year.
However, sometimes plans get delayed on soaps. EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurriegel) return was delayed several times before he ultimately made a comeback, so that situation may have happened with Deimos, too.
Perhaps the timing could finally be right based on some new info. Days fans might’ve heard about the Peacock miniseries in the works called Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.
This five-episode event will center around some stolen jewels that could have dangerous consequences if the wrong person controls them.
That makes it sound like the jewels might be cursed, so this whole scenario is reminiscent of the stolen cursed amulet that was in Deimos’ hands for a while.
This could pave the way for Vincent Irizarry to return as Deimos Kiriakis – first to this Peacock limited series and then to the main show.
Back when the Last Blast Reunion series came to the DOOL app, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) returned – and it wasn’t long until she returned to the main show as well.
Deimos could be the next character to jump from the extra content to the real Days, so that’s worth keeping in mind.
