Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) annulment may not be legal. The couple could find out they’re still married after Ben’s wife gets her memories back, so let’s talk about how this might play out.
DOOL fans know Ben fought Ciara’s efforts to get a divorce, so she decided to try another tactic.
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) used his influence and got a judge to sign off on an annulment, but that could easily be undone. It obviously wasn’t done on the up and up anyway!
Ciara might call in another favor to make sure the paperwork gets lost – or perhaps there was some other legal error that’ll come to light.
Days writers can say whatever they want as long as the result is keeping Ciara and Ben’s marriage intact.
It’d be nice for Ben and Ciara to keep their original anniversary along with the acknowledgement of that as their wedding day.
Ciara’s going to look back on that day fondly soon enough.
Ciara will no longer be trying to ignore what she shared with Ben or reclaim the date by committing to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Now that Ben has kidnapped Ciara and intends to jog her memory at the cabin, she’s poised to finally remember and reunite with him.
Of course, Ciara should be bummed when she realizes she’s annulled her marriage to the man she loves.
Ciara’s feelings for Ben will change in an instant – and so will her feelings about the annulment.
Ben will no doubt assure Ciara that he doesn’t need a piece of paper to tell him anything. He’s still Ciara’s husband in his heart, so nothing could ever change that.
Even so, Ciara and Ben may make plans to remarry as soon as possible.
It’d be great if in their quest to become husband and wife again, Ben and Ciara find out they’re still married after all!
Plans for a new “Cin” wedding could become plans for a vow renewal instead, which could be a fitting end to this Days chapter of Ciara and Ben’s love story.
