Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that some major departures are coming up.
DOOL fans will see some important characters make big decisions that affect their next chapters, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Four exits are rapidly approaching, so we should offer a reminder about the bloodbath of cast cuts that came back in January.
Following the show’s holiday break, multiple Days actors were informed that they’d been given the boot.
That led to the news that Ashley Puzemis (Holly Jonas), Leo Howard (Tate Black), Carson Boatman (Johnny DiMera) and Raven Bowens (Chanel Dupree DiMera) were all headed for the exit door.
Of course, since DOOL films so far in advance, viewers still had many months to enjoy watching Chanel, Johnny, Tate and Holly on-screen.
However, their time on the show is winding down, so it’s a good idea to start thinking about how these characters will depart.
It looks like Holly only has a handful of episodes left, so we can assume it’ll be the same for Tate.
Johnny and Chanel shouldn’t have many more episodes left either since Boatman and Bowens were fired at the same time as Puzemis and Howard.
Holly is currently dealing with some Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) drama since he clearly blames her for Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) demise.
Days fans will recall that Holly also received an unsettling text from someone who appeared to be watching her with Tate.
Whether Holly’s stalker is an alive Sophia or not, she’ll never escape constant soapy madness while living in Salem.
Holly may choose to join Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty) in France, where she can perhaps continue her studies in peace.
Naturally, Tate could go with Holly for a joint happy ending.
It makes sense to send Holly and Tate off canvas together since they’re both leaving anyway.
The same goes for Johnny and Chanel since they’re departing Days in the same time frame, too.
Johnny may ultimately decide Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) has the right idea and resign from DiMera Enterprises.
From there, Johnny might convince Chanel that they should pack up the kids and go live somewhere far away from the DiMera family chaos.
Italy might be an option since Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) would love to bond with her grandbabies.
That could offer another joint happy ending and give this married duo a speedy Salem getaway as well.
It may seem rather abrupt on-screen, but Holly, Tate, Chanel and Johnny’s exits have been in the works since just after Christmas!
