The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, December 14 Recap – Taylor Wants Douglas Away From Logans & Living with Thomas

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 14, teases that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) felt Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) should live with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and feared all the Logan influence. Here’s how things went down on Tuesday’s gripping B&B episode.

At the cliff house, Taylor pointed out that a lot of things had changed, but some things had stayed the same. When Taylor admitted she planned to stay in town for a while, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was glad to hear it.

Ridge talked about what a selfless person Taylor was, but she admitted she wasn’t always that way. Even now, Taylor argued that her motive for returning home was about her own desire to reconnect with her kids and grandkids. She wanted more than video chats and knew it was time to come see everyone in person.

Taylor got updates on Thomas, who was doing well at work and had become friends with Hope. That was a relief to Taylor, but she was still concerned about Douglas.

“Why isn’t he living with his father? Shouldn’t Thomas have his son back by now?” Taylor asked. She pointed out Douglas was a Forrester and worried about all the Logan influence. Although Ridge assured Taylor that Douglas saw Thomas all the time, she argued that wasn’t the same as living with him.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas thought it was so great to have the family together in the same place. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) felt Taylor should decide how and when to tell Ridge she was back. She suggested it’d be a significant moment and got the sense that Taylor still really loved Ridge.

Steffy was proud of Thomas for accepting Taylor’s help and overcoming his inner demons. After Steffy mentioned Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) being part of the reason Taylor stayed away for so long, Thomas thought his sister was right about Taylor still being in love with Ridge.

Back at the cliff house, Taylor sensed there was trouble in Ridge’s marriage to Brooke. Taylor then backed off the topic, but Ridge said she could read him better than anyone.

Ridge confessed he’d been having disagreements with Brooke regarding Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), who was back in town and trying to claim he was a better person.

Ridge said Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was buying it and that Brooke wasn’t listening either. It troubled Ridge that Brooke believed in this new version of Deacon, especially considering her sordid past with him.

Taylor was so sorry Ridge was going through this and pulled him into a hug right as Thomas arrived with Steffy.

At Brooke’s place, she reflected on the difficult position she was in since there was no give on either side of Ridge and Hope’s battle.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) felt that Hope deserved a relationship with her dad – and Brooke agreed since she thought Deacon’s letters to his daughter were genuine.

Katie suggested it was beautiful and amazing that Deacon wanted to reconnect with his daughter. Brooke was on the same page with Katie and just wished Ridge would see it that way!

Brooke didn’t have blinders on and neither did Hope, but she wanted to support this renewed relationship.

Brooke argued that Deacon wasn’t up to any of his old tricks or taking advantage of people. Katie knew letting go of the past wasn’t easy, but she felt it could be done.

“When it comes to family, forgiveness is never wrong,” Katie insisted. She said Deacon and Hope deserved a place in each other’s lives, so Brooke hoped Ridge would come to the same conclusion.

At the cabin, Hope did some martial arts while watching a video on her laptop. Deacon interrupted and got reassurance that he was welcome there anytime. He peeked in on Beth Spencer, who was napping while Douglas drew pictures and watched over her.

Deacon really appreciated the chance Hope and Brooke were giving him. He had regrets over the past, but Hope thought they should just focus on what they have now.

Deacon promised he wouldn’t let Hope down and discovered she’d been watching a martial arts video.

After Hope explained that she was doing a self-defense class online, Deacon said his daughter was singing his song! He was surprised to have something else in common and wanted to give Hope some real martial arts tips.

Deacon got Hope to bow to her sensei, but then he smacked her on the head teasingly and suggested this was lesson number one. He wanted Hope to remember that the most important thing was right in front of her.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Deacon will keep trying to strengthen their bond, but some curveballs are looming.
