The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, June 4, teases that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will rage over Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) ruining Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) future – and Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) will try to make sense of the two Spencer stories.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will try to fill in the gaps now that she’s divulged Liam’s role in the hit-and-run. The truth is that Liam’s really only to blame for the hit!
Liam inadvertently struck Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) with his car, but it was Bill’s terrible idea to brush the evidence under the rug and drive off.
Brooke will reel as Hope explains and grumbles over Bill wrecking her reunion with Liam. There’s no doubt that Liam would’ve done the right thing that night without Bill nudging him down the wrong path.
Brooke has a soft spot for Bill as her ex and has been known to defend him, but she’s also Liam and Hope’s biggest cheerleader. It seems likely that Brooke will side with Hope and put the blame on Bill when it comes to Liam’s plight.
Hope probably won’t have high hopes about Bill fixing this like he promised. She’ll fret over what’ll happen if Liam’s sentenced to who knows how many years behind bars!
Brooke may think Hope just has to take things one step at a time. She’ll console Hope and give her some strength on this dreadful day.
As for Bill, he’ll keep pushing Baker to release Liam and accept his own confession instead. Bill will no doubt share exactly what happened to the damaged car as well as Vinny’s wallet and cell phone. He’ll try to give Baker enough details so that his story is believed.
Deputy Chief Baker should think Bill fits as someone who’d cover up a hit-and-run – at least far more than Liam does! Liam’s nice guy image just wasn’t adding up to the facts of the case, so Baker should think Bill’s story feels more logical.
At the same time, Baker can’t just ignore Liam’s admission of guilt and all the conflicting statements. Liam will keep trying to protect Bill, so it won’t be as simple as letting Liam walk free.
These dueling Spencer stories will leave Baker irritated as he barks warnings at both of them.
Bill won’t be able to score his son’s freedom, so Liam will remain in lockup and will spend his first night away from his family soon enough. As other B&B news and updates emerge, we’ll fill you in.
