The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may soon want her wedding to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back on, so we could see her plotting her reunion and using Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to manipulate her ex.
Y&R viewers know Chelsea told Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) she was letting go of her anger.
Chelsea seemed to have a fresh attitude and a whole new perspective, which concerned Chloe since she still isn’t a big Adam fan.
Chloe wants Chelsea to focus on co-parenting, but Chelsea would apparently like to do a lot more than that!
We’ve seen how much it means to Connor for his parents to be together – and that’s something Chelsea’s no doubt taking into account.
However, Chelsea also understands that her hatred for Adam was rooted in things that were beyond reality.
It’s true that Adam made some big mistakes, but Chelsea twisted everything around and turned Adam into some sort of maniacal supervillain who was out to turn their son against her.
Adam would certainly never poison Connor against Chelsea – and she understands that now. Of course, it’s easy to see the potential for a reunion since Chelsea’s in a better frame of mind.
Based on how Chelsea talked on her last video chat with Chloe, there’s a good chance Chelsea’s about to kick off a plot in hopes of reuniting with Adam.
During the week of August 9-13, Chelsea will drop some hints and try to gauge Adam’s reaction.
This could be Chelsea’s plan to see how Adam would feel about getting back together without flat-out asking for a reunion.
Chelsea will want to proceed with caution and be strategic about how she presents this.
If Chelsea senses that Adam’s stuck on the idea of solely co-parenting, she may realize she needs to work a little harder to make a reunion happen.
Chelsea could use Connor as a manipulation tool and justify it since she’d unite their family in the end if the plan worked.
The Connor card is definitely one that Chelsea should play if she’s hoping to tug at Adam’s heart strings and wear him down.
Adam and Chelsea were happily engaged at one point, so Chelsea may decide she wants to get back to that happy place in their lives.
Perhaps step one of a “Chadam” reunion and wedding scheme is rapidly approaching!
