The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 26, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will hope for the best after Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) comes home to talk about their issues.
Of course, those issues are all about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sharon’s refusal to stay away from him.
Rey may feel like this is pointless because he’s tried to warn Sharon repeatedly about Adam. Whether Rey was gentle or harsh, no strategy he picked ever did any good.
Nevertheless, Rey loves Sharon and may think there’s a way forward if Sharon can truly break whatever hold Adam has on her.
Sharon might want to shift her tactic this time since she kept defending Adam during her last confrontation with Rey. That’s probably not the best idea considering Sharon got caught kissing Adam – and the pic’s been splashed all over social media!
Sharon needs to acknowledge how much her actions hurt Rey and stop downplaying this as just Adam being Adam. On Friday, Rey and Sharon will have a serious discussion, although it’ll inevitably turn into another fight with strong emotions pouring out.
Rey will want Sharon to be truly honest about her lingering feelings for Adam and whether she loves Rey enough to choose him. Part of Rey may even fear Sharon married him out of obligation.
Rey was there for Sharon during her cancer battle, so Rey might worry that’s the only reason they’re together.
Whatever the case, Sharon and Rey will share some intense moments in Friday’s Y&R episode. This should leave “Shey” at a relationship crossroads. Rey and Sharon will have to decide if moving forward is possible or if this will become the end of their path together.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will face a difficult choice next week, March 1-5, so Rey may come up with a new Adam-related ultimatum.
Rey already tried banning Sharon from seeing Adam, but he might try again – this time with the warning that if Sharon sees Adam anyway, their marriage is officially over.
In the meantime, Adam will work to hide his trail. There may be a close call where Adam lies to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) again and believes he’s dodged a scandalous pic bullet. What Adam doesn’t realize is that Chelsea has already seen that pic for herself!
Chelsea will get a visit from Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) in the coming episodes, so that’ll bring a chance to show off her progress. Chelsea will type on her phone to communicate as she plots revenge on Adam and Sharon, so Chloe may become a secret helper.
Finally, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) know that she’s VERY interested in seeing where things lead between them.
Jack will start to worry he overstepped by moving them into dating territory, but Sally will vehemently disagree. She’ll make it clear that she’s fine with calling these dates and is looking forward to even more of them.
However, Sally will suddenly fear that maybe Jack doesn’t feel the same way. She’ll seek reassurance that Jack’s into her like she’s into him – and Sally should get that reassurance from smiling Jack!
It looks like Jack and Sally’s romance is moving right along, but Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will plot against this new pairing in the weeks ahead.
