The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of March 1-5 tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will get a special visitor. “It’s me!” Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) exclaims in a new promo video. Abby will be happy to see her mom back in town – and there’ll certainly be a lot to talk about!
Of course, Abby will be thrilled about her baby plans moving forward. She’ll talk to Ashley about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) serving as her gestational carrier and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) being her sperm donor.
However, Ashley will battle some concerns – perhaps since there are several people involved here and that could make things messy. There’s also the matter of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) being off on his mysterious mission with no end in sight.
Ashley might wonder if Abby really wants to go through with her baby plans right this second, but Abby may cling to her goal – at least during this chat.
Ashley will also meet up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to discuss their mutual worries, so Victor should be on the same page when it comes to their daughter’s complex situation.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will enjoy some other dates with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) – though he’ll want to make sure Sally’s OK with calling them that.
“Hell yes I want to call these dates, and I hope there’ll be more of them. Unless that’s not where your head’s at,” Sally says in the latest preview clip.
However, Jack will seem as smitten as ever, so he’ll no doubt assure Sally that he’s very much in the “date” headspace. Y&R fans can expect Sally and Jack to continue getting to know each other, so they should fall harder by the second.
Naturally, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will do whatever she can to block Sally’s path to romance with Jack, but that mission will prove tougher than she’d hoped. Speaking of Phyllis, she’ll have a strange encounter with Victor in the coming episodes.
“What a surprise,” Victor says in the preview video when he spots Phyllis at Crimson Lights. “Would you…like to talk about something?” Phyllis replies, clearly suspicious of why Victor seems so pleasant and chatty.
Victor and Phyllis aren’t each other’s favorite people, but business is business – and that might be why Victor wants to talk. Maybe Victor will have a proposal related to The Grand Phoenix or something along those lines.
Then again, it might be Victor’s granddaughter and Phyllis’ daughter who becomes the topic of conversation. Summer Newman (Hunter King) is mutual connection that Victor could end up discussing with Phyllis – especially if he has fears regarding Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) loyalty.
Whatever the case, Victor’s prepared to acquire Ashland Locke’s media company, which could serve as a nice way for Victor to head over into Summer and Kyle’s storyline. As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll bring you more details.
We should note that some of these scenes may air on Friday, February 26, while others air in the week ahead, but there’ll be some great drama going on no matter what!
