The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that someone from Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) past will resurface for a hot story. Y&R fans have already been hearing a lot about Tara Locke, the woman Kyle thought he fell in love with back in New York. Now there’s a face to go with the name!
SOD confirms that Elizabeth Leiner will make her debut as Tara on March 1, so Kyle had better be ready for drama. This is a recurring role, so it sounds like Tara could remain in Kyle’s orbit for a while.
Kyle told Summer Newman (Hunter King) about his affair with Tara, who’s married to a powerful mogul named Ashland Locke. Unfortunately, Kyle didn’t fill Summer in on the three-year-old son he potentially has with Tara. That’s a secret that Kyle intends to do a bit more research on before he comes clean.
Kyle will try to call Tara soon, but she’ll text back and warn him not to contact her again. That’ll force Kyle to seek info another way, so he’ll get on the Internet to dig around. After Kyle uncovers a picture of Harrison online, he’ll accidentally leave it where Summer can see it.
Once Summer notices the pic on Kyle’s computer, she’ll grow curious. Kyle will lie to Summer about who the child is, so his deception should come back to haunt him eventually.
In the meantime, Kyle will urge Summer to go meet with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in LA again to go over some new business details. Kyle’s goal will be to get rid of Summer so he can take a trip of his own without raising red flags.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will plan to travel to New York on the down low and grill Tara in person. However, it’s Tara who’ll surprise Kyle by showing up in Genoa City instead.
Tara’s arrival is sure to bring a heated confrontation about Harrison – and it’ll lead to Kyle confessing the whole truth to Summer sooner or later. Y&R fans can expect Tara to shake things up and bring some big problems for “Skyle” to tackle.
As for Elizabeth Leiner, she certainly looks the part! Tara is supposed to be an intriguing older woman that Kyle used to get over Summer in his New York days. Leiner seems like she’ll be a great fit as Ashland’s wife, who’s no doubt quite protective of Harrison and her family’s image.
Some of Leiner’s other projects include films like Nanny Killer, Suburban Swingers Club, Memories of My Father and brief TV roles on Drop Dead Diva as well as Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. It’ll be interesting to finally meet Tara once Leiner makes her debut, so don’t miss her March 1 first airdate!
