General Hospital Monday, September 14 Recap: Britt Says Goodbye to Jason, Josslyn Reports Anna’s Breakdown to WSB

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, September 14, reveals that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) decided it was time to say a heartbreaking farewell.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also decided she had to turn Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in, so here’s how Monday’s episode went down.

At the Quartermaine stables, Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) brought Outback to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) after finding her while nightbird watching near the nature preserve.

Cody bonded with his half-sister as he discussed his Savannah trip with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).

Once Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) showed up, they sat down for a sweet dinner with Cody and Serena that included some talk about their biological mother, Dominque Stanton (Shell Danielson).

At the Metro Court, Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Breanna Tokarski) secretly joined Molly and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for dessert at the Metro Court Gardens.

Alexis was adamant about sneaking around since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was being so unreasonable.

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) office, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) came to her about requesting some office space for Josslyn in the building.

Hudson complained about all Josslyn’s orders and about having his trip extended to deal with her drama.

It left Hudson thinking someone else should come handle Josslyn’s demands, but Carly proposed a mutually beneficial off-screen deal to keep him in town.

Carly also agreed to the office space, but she said it needed to be renovated and urged Hudson to make sure the contractor was loud.

Over the phone afterward, Hudson told someone mysterious that he did what they suggested and seemed confident they would approve of the outcome.

Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Britt told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that she wanted to help free Anna on Spoon Island, but Anna was moved before she got the chance.

Britt realized Jason didn’t believe her and asked if he would’ve covered up her murder if Anna had killed her.

Jason stood by his belief that Anna wouldn’t have gone that far, which added to the conflict with Britt.

Britt acknowledged that love wasn’t enough without trust, so she said this wasn’t going to work and told Jason goodbye. Jason stood there all teary as Britt walked away after ending their relationship.

At GH, Anna asked Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) to consult on her PTSD case since he used to be a WSB operative.

Anna hoped to avoid being placed in a WSB facility after nearly executing Britt, so Tristan gave her a brief heart checkup.

That way, Tristan would officially be Anna’s doctor and wouldn’t have to spill any confidential medical info if she wanted his support.

Afterward, Tristan saw Britt at the hospital and seemed worried after hearing Anna nearly killed her.

Britt acted like Anna must’ve concocted the story since she was mentally unstable.

At Anna’s place, Josslyn showed up to interrogate Anna about her ordeal with Britt. Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) wasn’t happy about it and repeatedly tried to get Josslyn to leave.

Anna came home to a heated argument and pushed Emma to leave so she could talk to Josslyn alone.

That led to Anna discussing her PTSD with Josslyn, who talked about finding Anna’s message in captivity and shared how much it helped her.

Josslyn pointed out that she was supposedly on leave and that Anna wasn’t an agent anymore, so she saw some gray areas to exploit here.

Anna seemingly gave Josslyn a nudge to follow the rules since she shouldn’t be a WSB agent if she couldn’t.

Emma came home and quizzed Anna soon after, but her grandmother wasn’t sure what Josslyn was going to do.

Jason later crossed paths with Carly and admitted things were over with Britt.

After Jason offered a vague story about their split, Carly insisted on taking him for a night out at Brown Dog Bar.

Back at the Metro Court Gardens, William Baines (Alimi Ballard) approached Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to question her about Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

Nina thought it was about time since she’d been trying to get in touch with Brennan for days.

Baines pointed out the WSB hadn’t been able to reach Brennan either, so he grilled Nina about her public outburst and threat against Jack.

Nina argued that Baines shouldn’t listen to Carly, but he pointed out there were multiple staff members backing up the story.

Nina confessed she was romantically involved with Brennan and tried to play it like a typical quarrel that she couldn’t remember the details of.

Now Nina insisted she wanted to find Brennan and make up with him.

Baines interrogated Nina about her whereabouts that night and wondered if anyone could vouch for her when she said she was working late.

Nina eventually realized she was a suspect in Brennan’s disappearance and clammed up without a lawyer present.

Baines backed off for now, but he advised Nina not to leave town.

Finally, Josslyn met up with Baines and let him know that Anna suffered a mental breakdown.

Baines also learned that Anna was seeking treatment from a civilian outside the bureau.

General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn will have to live with the choice she’s made no matter what, so stay tuned for any troubling news to come.
