The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has been influenced by his time away with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) approved of Rey following Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to her mother’s home, where Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) is recovering from hip surgery.
The official police escort, that was appreciatively funded by the citizens of Genoa City, Wisconsin, led to Minnesota. Rey has determined that Chelsea will honor her commitment to aid her mother in that neighboring state. He has developed his thoughts about the woman who purposely poisoned him with Thallium.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) found Rey’s assignment to be odd, considering that he’s Chelsea’s victim. Mrs. Rosales went along with it knowing that her husband was just doing his job. But will Rey’s new perspective impact Shey?

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) never misses an opportunity to chat Sharon up. She’s ever-appealing and irresistible, as many Y&R fans surely agree.
While Rey has been away Adam suggested that Sharon was drawn to the concept of Shadam because of the bad boy angle. Sharon rejected Adam’s assertion with words, but her actions reveal inner thoughts and desires.
Rey’s absence took the pressure off, which is always in play. Sharon loves Rey, but she has retained feelings for Adam. To what degree is impossible to determine.

Egan and her husband, Matt Katrosar (who played Chelsea’s abductor and later an Emergency Medical Technician), are expecting their first child in August. So, Chelsea’s sudden need to help Anita is obviously tied to Egan’s due date.
The actor, who has portrayed Chelsea dating back to 2011, has recently been seen via video chat. That technique allows Egan to be off-set, but on-screen.
The pending birth of Egan’s baby, likely advanced scenes being filmed, and anticipated maternity leave projects to Chelsea being back in GC sometime in the fall or by early winter.

Sharon is committed to Rey. If that wasn’t true, then she could be with Adam right now, as he’s single and interested.
Her confliction exists because of Adam’s unique pull. The idea of a Shadam reunion is real now that Chelsea is gone for awhile and Chadam isn’t in force.
Adam wants Sharon back. Rey wants Shey intact.
So, what does Sharon decide? Yes, it’s good summer watching on Y&R.
