Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the show was forced to recast a pivotal role due to one actor’s scheduling issues.
That means Days’ Theo Carver will look a little different soon since General Hospital alum Tajh Bellow will temporarily take over for Tyler Joseph Andrews.
Theo is currently trying to figure out a new path for himself after resigning from DiMera Enterprises.
Once Theo realized so much shadiness was going on, he knew he had to quit and distance himself from all the DiMera drama.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) has extended a job offer to Theo, so that should be their topic of conversation when they meet up on Tuesday, October 6.
That’s also when Tajh Bellow will temporarily swap in for Tyler Joseph Andrews according to TV Insider.
Since Andrews wasn’t available to film one particular day in December 2025, Days needed someone else to play Theo in a hurry.
Thankfully, Bellow was willing and able to fill in, so DOOL was able to preserve their filming schedule and keep rolling right along.
Although Bellow will only appear in a single Days episode, it’ll be fun to see his spin on Theo.
If other scheduling issues arise in the future, Bellow might be asked to take over the role again sometime.
For now, we’ll look forward to seeing Bellow’s temporary soap gig, especially since it’s been so long since he was seen on General Hospital.
GH fans will recall that Bellow used to play the role of TJ Ashford, but his airtime dwindled and he ultimately disappeared from the canvas.
TJ was last seen in Port Charles in 2024, but some dialogue earlier this year indicated that he’s living overseas.
Now Bellow will be sliding in the part of Theo on Days briefly, but Tyler Joseph Andrews will be back on-screen once Bellow’s one-day appearance concludes.
Are you excited to see Tajh Bellow’s temporary Theo Carver takeover? Were you a fan of Bellow’s work on General Hospital?
