The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 22, tease that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will reel Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) in while two famous sisters surprise Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also deliver proof to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), so let’s talk about how Thursday’s action will go down.
For starters, Stitch will take advantage of some alone time with Abby. He’s still harboring some intense feelings for his former flame and will likely hope to revive her own.
Stitch knows Abby’s married to Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz), but he’s got an opportunity to slide in the love interest spot.
Chance is away on a dangerous mission, so Abby’s had a lot to deal with due to the time apart and constant worries about her husband.
Of course, Abby has also had to contend with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) going MIA. Though Mariah has supposedly been in touch through texts, some nagging fears may remain in the back of Abby’s mind.
Stitch will hope to distract Abby from all her current problems with a walk down memory lane. Although some painful memories may come up as well, Stitch will probably want to focus on the positives.
Abby and Stitch’s relationship certainly wasn’t all bad, so he’ll reminisce with Abby and hope he can draw her closer.
Unfortunately, Stitch seems to be keeping some sinister secrets during his latest stint.
There’s no doubt that Y&R’s made Stitch seem like an obsessed stalker – someone who would kidnap Mariah and hold her against her will!
There’s a good chance that’s exactly what Stitch has done, so some startling revelations could be brewing down the road.
In the meantime, Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) will pull off an amazing surprise with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) help.
Faith apparently adores the singing sisters who make up the country music duo Tigirlily.
Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh will pop up for a quick meet-and-greet with some delighted fans, so Faith and Moses should be the characters involved here.
Moses will definitely score some points with Faith thanks to the heartfelt gesture. This should serve as a way to bring the teens closer and help Moses start inching out of friendship territory.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will take Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) recorded confession to Michael and hope it’s enough.
Amanda really wants justice for her dead father, but her priority in this moment will be getting Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) off the hook.
Naya may still be missing, but she can hopefully be tracked down once she knows she’s a free woman.
For now, Amanda will do whatever she can to clear Naya’s name and get Michael to go after Sutton instead.
