The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 8, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be recruited to snoop for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) – and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will make a vow to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also face a dilemma, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At Society, Adam will admit he’s given what Sally said the other day some thought. Sally’s run-in with Billy will give Adam the idea to make her an undercover agent. He’ll think Sally might be in the prime position to spy for Newman Media and make sure they’re a step ahead of the game.
Sally may be wary of kicking a man while he’s down since she feels sorry for Billy. However, this is Sally’s big chance to help Adam. Every time Sally offers her assistance, Adam usually tells her to just stick to the fashion platform. The fact that Adam’s trusting her with a job this huge may convince Sally she has to go for it.
Of course, Sally’s spy mission should be over before it ever really begins since Lily will listen in on their discussion. That should send Lily running back to Billy with updates, but he never trusted Sally to begin with! Billy would welcome Sally’s spy work since it’d give him another opportunity to feed the info he wants to Adam.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will make a vow to Lily, so that may be another promise not to let anything business-related interfere in their relationship. There’s nothing more important to Billy than Lily and the life they’ve built together – at least that’s what Billy claims!
It’ll be interesting to see if Billy can prove that’s true through his actions or if more trouble’s on the horizon. As for Phyllis and Jack, they’ll come together for a powerful conversation about the past, present and future.
Phyllis will admit that things might’ve changed for her after Jack’s love confession, but she’ll be overwhelmed and perhaps wary of ruining their friendship. Jack certainly won’t want to mess this up either, so they’ll face the dilemma of burning desires and the fear of destroying their bond.
Nevertheless, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will ultimately push Phyllis to be honest with herself. After Phyllis insists it’d kill her if she hurt Jack again, Amanda may argue that she can’t focus on what might happen.
Amanda will urge Phyllis to decide whether wants to reignite things with Jack and follow her heart. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Jack will settle on some form of a clean slate in Wednesday’s show, so that sounds like a step in the right direction.
