The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of March 8-12 tease that some shockers and shakeups are ahead in Genoa City. For starters, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) out of a jam.
There’ll be some situation where Chloe has to save the day, so Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may nearly catch on when it comes to Chelsea’s recovery.
Chelsea wants to keep that news a secret for now – and she’ll even hide the fact that she’s learned to speak again. It’s possible Adam will hear Chelsea say something and grow hopeful, but Chloe might pipe up to act like Adam merely heard her instead. Whatever the case, Chloe will prove she’s got Chelsea’s back!
As for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), she’ll work on saving her marriage to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey and Sharon will go to couples therapy, so look for Kathryn Browning to debut as Iris the marriage counselor.
You can bet there’ll be some tense moments as Sharon tries to tackle her Adam addiction – though it may be hard to move past denial.
Next, let’s talk about Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and her trip to town with Ashland Locke (Paul Burgi). Ashland and Tara will be in GC on business, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be on edge over buried secrets and how he should handle things.
Although Ashland believes Harrison is his own son, that little boy actually belongs to Kyle. It looks like Kyle will turn to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for guidance after coming clean.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) will sense that Kyle’s stressed, so she’ll work to provide a little distraction in the week ahead.
That may give Kyle a break from all the daddy drama he’s dealing with, but it won’t last long. Kyle will have to deal with this Harrison issue eventually, but it seems he’ll put it off by hiding his trail and avoiding Ashland for a while.
As for Ashland, he’ll plan to settle a bidding war over Cyaxares. It turns out this media company will kick off a far bigger feud than anyone expected.
After Jack takes a gamble, Victor and Adam will get ready for the battle that’s brewing. Due to all this Cyaxares drama and some moves the key players make, the Abbott and Newman rivalry will rev up again. Jack and Victor will once again become bitter rivals, so that should bring some exciting moments.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make choices that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) finds questionable.
Nikki will wonder if Victoria really thinks she’s making the right call on a few things. Victoria may let her emotions drive her decision-making skills for a while, which could be a recipe for disaster.
Y&R spoilers say Victoria will be angry over the leadership role Adam was offered as part of this new media division plan. Victor will pit Victoria against her brother – perhaps hoping to bring out Victoria’s ruthless side a bit and convince her it won’t be so bad to destroy Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Adam and Victoria will become quite competitive, which is often the way Victor wants it when it comes to his children. Victoria will surprise Billy later – and most likely not in a good way.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) won’t be pleased over how things are playing out, so she’ll start to lose her cool over Victoria’s actions.
Over with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she’ll remain hopeful that the surrogacy will move forward without any major hiccups. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will also pop up again in the week ahead.
Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will need some help, so Lola will come to Faith’s rescue and offer plenty of support.
Next, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will bid Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) farewell despite their lingering feelings for each other. It seems that’ll lead to a passionate moment to say goodbye, though it may not cross past lip-locking territory.
Even so, Devon’s set to get busted over what happened during the ice storm sooner or later. It may not happen right away, but Devon’s hookup with Elena will come back to haunt him in the coming weeks.
It looks like Amanda’s going to discover some jewelry that was dropped at the penthouse. Elena’s lost bracelet may become the clue Amanda needs to figure out Devon slept with his former flame.
