Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Clyde Weston (James Read) may plot Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) murder and jeopardize his prison release for revenge. Will Clyde get sent back to Statesville after going too far for payback?
DOOL fans know Clyde is arguably a better man than he used to be, but he’s still not the type to let people cross him.
Clyde is more than willing to toss around threats and even follow through on them in certain situations.
Leo caused a world of trouble for Clyde through that stolen jewelry.
Clyde didn’t know the jewels were part of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder investigation, so he landed in hot water for a while.
Although Clyde was ultimately cleared, he’s still livid over the little weasel who put him in that legal jam.
Clyde wants that man to pay – and he’ll soon connect the dots to determine that Leo is the one he’s after.
During the week of August 8-12, Clyde will get some help from Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
They’ll all put their heads together and link enough puzzle pieces for Clyde to catch on.
Clyde will realize the same man who stole Nancy’s ex-husband, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), away is the guy who dragged him into jewelry drama.
Once Clyde zeroes in on Leo as a target, he could easily seek deadly revenge.
Clyde wants to build a bright future with Nancy, but he’s the kind of person who tends to get in his own way.
The desire for vengeance may be too strong for Clyde to overcome.
Although Clyde won’t succeed in killing Leo, he could at least try. If Clyde carries out a murder attempt and gets caught, that could land him back behind bars.
Without Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) or his grandbaby around, there isn’t much left for Clyde in Salem. This romance with Nancy doesn’t seem like enough to anchor Clyde to this town and keep him relevant.
If Days needs an exit strategy for Clyde in the not-too-distant future, having him go after Leo for revenge would be a good way to go. Clyde could try to murder Leo and get sent back to Statesville because of it.
Of course, there are other ways for Clyde to be written out if Days wants to preserve his freedom – like leaving town with Nancy instead.
Regardless, Clyde won’t be happy when he realizes Leo is responsible for his time in police custody, so he’ll surely want Leo to pay! As other Days news becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
