Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will use Ava DiMera’s (Tamara Braun) mental instability at the shareholders meeting. It looks like EJ will play dirty to gain control of Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) shares, so let’s talk about this tricky situation.
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) was desperate to keep Jake’s shares out of EJ’s hands, so she cooked up this fake marriage plot with Ava.
Now Ava is pretending to be Jake’s widow, but there’s one part of all this that’s very real – and that’s Ava’s grief over losing the man she loved.
DOOL fans know Jake appeared to Ava at the hospital, at least in her own mind. There was another time when Ava dreamed of Jake at his old apartment.
However, those incidents weren’t the same as the latest Ava and “Jake” encounter. There’s a reason why Ava’s reunion with “Jake” on the August 24 Days episode felt so real.
Ava was actually touching and talking to a living Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but she obviously doesn’t know that yet.
EJ doesn’t know the truth either and now thinks he has confirmation to back up Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) warning.
Abe pointed out that Ava had a history of mental instability that perhaps wasn’t behind her, so EJ has a new incident to prove it.
During the week of August 29-September 2, Days spoilers say EJ will make a move to push Ava out of the picture.
Considering how devious EJ is, we won’t be surprised if he tries to have Ava committed!
Regardless, EJ will inevitably try to make it look lie Ava is mentally incompetent and in no condition to be making DiMera-related decisions.
Naturally, EJ will think he should be the one controlling Jake’s shares and making choices about what’s best for the company.
After EJ’s sneaky preparations, he’ll blow up the DiMera shareholder meeting – no doubt with the news of unstable Ava and some harsh accusations.
If EJ can score control of those shares, he could be well on his way to stealing back control of the company from Gabi.
