Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, December 9, tease that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will make an embarrassing slip while Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) struggles with some traumatic memories. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will also find himself in a tight spot, so let’s discuss what DOOL has in store.
For starters, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will commiserate over their less-than-ideal love lives.
Although Chad pushed Stephanie away, he seems to be having some second thoughts now that Stephanie is genuinely falling for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Days spoilers say Chad will confess his true feelings to Sonny, who’ll admit he’s having some issues with Will Horton (Chandler Massey).
This whole long-distance thing isn’t going well, especially since Will called with the news that he wouldn’t be home for Christmas.
Next, Alex will bring Stephanie flowers as he joins her at Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) apartment.
Since Stephanie and Alex will have the place to themselves, that’ll bring an opportunity to finally heat things up.
Stephanie will make a mildly embarrassing blunder when she talks about Alex seeming like the type who prefers being on top.
However, Alex and Stephanie will have a good laugh about it once she realizes how that sounds.
Days spoilers say Stephanie will ultimately hit the sheets with Alex, so their romance will be moving right along – though Chad should linger somewhere in the back of Stephanie’s mind.
Over with Xander, he’ll feel backed into a corner.
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will insist on helping Xander somehow, so he may think they can slap Rednax Pharmaceuticals with some lawsuits and try to shut down their addictive drug operation.
The problem is that Rednax doesn’t really exist!
Xander just made up the company to throw Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) and everyone else off the kidnapping trail.
That’ll put Xander in a tight spot as he piles on more deception and tries to prevent Justin from closing in on the truth.
Meanwhile, Bonnie will struggle with traumatic memories related to her kidnapping ordeal with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Whether Bonnie has a nightmare or just relives the terrifying experience in flashbacks, she’ll have a difficult time.
Those traumatic memories could be the key to figuring out Xander was Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) accomplice.
Friday’s DOOL cliffhanger may bring new clues and some connected dots that point in Xander’s direction.
