Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, May 23, teases that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will push a wedding do-over plan while Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) fakes an emergency. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will also celebrate a big win, so there’ll be some Days shockers and shakeups.
At the hospital, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will feel like he has to protect himself from more pain.
Although Tripp made a dramatic sacrifice for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and would gladly do it again if need be, that doesn’t mean he can commit to a future with her.
Allie loves both Tripp and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), but Tripp doesn’t want that kind of split romance.
What Tripp’s looking for now is a woman who can love him with her whole heart.
Sadly, Allie can’t do that for Tripp – not when her feelings for Chanel are so strong.
Tripp will stand by his decision to break up with Allie as the right call. Perhaps Tripp will urge Allie to talk to Chanel and try to get on the same page.
Of course, Chanel has a torn heart as well since she’s letting Johnny sweep her off her feet again.
That was certainly a passionate kiss that Johnny and Chanel just shared at the hospital!
Johnny will want to prove to Chanel that he’s fully committed to her, so he’ll think they should have another wedding.
After Johnny pops the question for the second time, Chanel will have to contemplate the idea of remarriage.
Naturally, Chanel will also mull over her recent relationship with Allie and wonder if there could still be a chance for them.
This is quite a mess since Chanel won’t want to cause any friction between the twins.
When Allie spots Chanel in an intense moment with Johnny, she’ll worry that maybe she’s going to lose Chanel, too.
Allie may find out about Johnny’s new marriage proposal and fear Chanel’s going to say yes.
While Chanel considers her next move, Days spoilers say Kristen will feel satisfied with a bold move of her own.
DOOL fans know Kristen showed up at the shareholder meeting via video chat and is now poised to offer a shocking CEO vote – one that gives Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) a major victory.
Kristen is the type of character who loves a little chaos and always has some agenda to push.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will consider this an awful betrayal, but Kristen will be pleased with her decision.
Gabi will manage to stay on the DiMera throne, so she’ll be ready to hit the town and have a fun celebration with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman).
That could leave Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) wishing he could celebrate with Gabi instead – even though he’d never admit it.
Next, Jan will pretend to have a pregnancy scare that requires hospitalization.
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will get the blame following her outburst, but Jan provoked her and will apparently fake all this for Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) attention.
Although Belle will urge Shawn to open his eyes and avoid letting Jan deceive him, Shawn will dote on Jan as the mother of his child.
That baby has become a priority for Shawn, so Jan’s efforts to pull him closer will pay off.
