Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 2, teases that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will manipulate Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) while Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) gets a second chance at survival. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will also get shocking news as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) proves he’s a miracle-worker, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
In Dr. Rolf’s secret lab, he’ll use some of his usual medical magic and try to bring Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) back to life.
When that doesn’t fully work, Kristen will urge Dr. Rolf to try his last resort – and that should involve using Jake for Stefan’s return instead.
Dr. Rolf will drop a bomb on Kristen as his plan takes a wild turn.
Over with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), she’ll continue to play the role of Jake’s widow.
That’ll give Ava some power over Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), who’ll complain about her ally’s surprising new demands.
If Gabi expects Ava’s cooperation, she’ll have to meet these demands or at least find a way to compromise.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will remain suspicious of Ava’s marriage, which is a fake one Gabi cooked up to keep Jake’s shares out of her rival’s hands.
Meanwhile, Gwen will do her best to manipulate Xander, so that should involve turning on the charm and trying to make herself more sympathetic.
Of course, Gwen may also take some subtle jabs about Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) mental state and her fear that Xander will end up all alone.
Days spoilers say Gwen will hope she can pull Xander closer, but his heart will remain with Sarah for now.
In Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office, Sarah will undergo hypnosis and face stunning flashbacks of the night Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) died.
Once Sarah comes out of her trance, she’ll have a hard time sorting out the new facts of the case.
Days spoilers say Sarah will spill to Xander, who’ll also be rather baffled by her memories.
DOOL fans can watch as Sarah and Xander put their heads together to connect the dots, but Gwen knows more than she’s letting on.
That’s because Gwen is hiding the Sarah mask in her motel room.
At some point this week, viewers will see Gwen holding that mask as she presumably remembers wearing it the night Abigail was murdered.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was adamant that he saw Sarah running toward the door and dropping something, but that was probably Gwen instead!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen’s tangled web of deception will cause more trouble, so stick with the NBC soap.
