Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, March 22 Recap – Gabi Fires Kate – Johnny Knows Ciara’s Baby Gender – EJ’s Murder Memory

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 22, teases that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) fired Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) – and it was revealed that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) knew Ciara Brady-Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby gender. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) also had a murder memory, so here’s how all Tuesday’s Days action played out.

At DiMera Enterprises, Gabi fired Kate and refused to listen to Kate’s attempts to talk her out of it.

Kate acted like Gabi was getting rid of any allies she might have, but Gabi argued that she had Johnny on her side.

Kate wondered how long it’d be before Johnny turned against Gabi too, so that left Gabi concerned.

In the meantime, Johnny told Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) all about Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) possession, exorcism and confession about impersonating EJ.

Once Chad realized EJ didn’t really force himself on Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), he felt guilty for his role in sending EJ to prison.

Chad wanted to make things right and thought he should come clean, but Kate offered the better idea of framing the devil instead.

At home, Belle was horrified as Shawn explained the possession ordeal she’d been through.

They determined that the devil would’ve wanted to sneak a peek at Ciara and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) gender reveal envelope, which had indeed been opened.

Back with Johnny, DOOL fans saw a flashback of him planting evidence at Belle’s place and opening the envelope while he was there.

Once Johnny saw the baby’s gender in the flashback, he seemed pleased and said he could work with that.

Johnny later made his way to Gabi’s office, where she wondered why should trust him.

After Johnny defended some of his other decisions lately, he insisted he wanted Gabi and felt like they should take this relationship to the next level.

Gabi ultimately let herself surrender to a steamy kiss with Johnny.

At Ben and Ciara’s apartment, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) got updates on the devil possessing Belle instead of Johnny.

Since Jake was struggling to buy that, he dashed off to get evidence for himself.

Jake wound up paying Belle a visit, so she looked in her bag and had the phone used in the Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) deception.

Belle also looked on her computer and assumed she filed the petition to take away Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) shares from Gabi.

Although Belle was apologetic on Tuesday’s Days episode, Jake didn’t blame her. He hinted about how this could change things with Gabi and took off.

Jake ended up paying a visit to the Kiriakis mansion, but Maggie wasn’t around.

When Jake called Gabi, she ignored his call and enjoyed a make-out session with Johnny.

At Statesville, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) delivered the news of Belle’s possession and thought EJ could use ineffective counsel as an excuse to get out of prison.

EJ thought it’d look like a stunt if he brought the devil into this and figured he’d have to stay behind bars for a while.

When Clyde entered the visiting area, Susan remembered him from a photo she’d seen and knew he was Ben’s father.

Susan got bad vibes and was rude to Clyde, but he didn’t seem bothered by her.

Once Clyde sauntered off, Susan warned EJ to keep his distance from him.

Susan also felt like Clyde had a secret, but EJ did his best to send Susan off without too many worries.

After Shawn took the opened sonogram envelope back to Ben and Ciara, Susan showed up and revealed she was headed back to Memphis.

After Susan hugged Ciara, she got a vibe for what the baby’s gender was and started to divulge it.

Ciara and Ben were able to stop Susan from spilling, but they had a decision to make once she was gone.

Although Ciara didn’t want to find out through Susan, she hinted about another idea.

Back at Statesville, Clyde seemed confident about his parole meeting that was happening this afternoon.

Clyde hoped he wouldn’t have to spend another night behind bars and suggested he’d paid for all his crimes.

That triggered a crucial memory for EJ, who remembered seeing Clyde standing next the Miguel the shooter on the night of his “death.”

EJ blurted out that it was Clyde and looked livid over him ordering the shooting.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ and Clyde’s feud is about to erupt, so stick with DOOL.
