Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of August 1-5 teases that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) mask trick will cause drama while Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) recruits Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry). Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will also get a surprising offer, so let’s talk about what DOOL has in store.
After the paternity test results come in, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will realize Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) was telling the truth.
Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) lied about Shawn Christian Brady being Shawn’s child, so he’ll be crushed since he’s already attached to him.
While Shawn seeks Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) legal assistance, Jan will resurface and corner Evan for a crucial confrontation.
Evan will disappear after this faceoff, so we’ll see if Jan and the baby get a chance to do the same.
Over with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), he’ll realize Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is lying to him.
Li may catch on when it comes to the plot Gabi cooked up with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) fake widow.
It turns out Ava will be a pretty problematic partner since she’ll bring some unexpected demands to the table.
Gabi won’t appreciate Ava’s attitude and threats, so we’ll see how many of those demands she’s willing to fulfill.
Next, Days spoilers say Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will surprise Eric by asking him out on a date.
Eric will eventually decide he’s on board, so Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will battle some jealousy when she finds out.
As for Paulina, she’ll cross paths with Eric and quiz him about Nicole.
Paulina may suspect Eric is still hung up on his ex-wife, but Eric will insist Nicole is married to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) now and that’s that.
Later, Johnny will force Paulina to help him out. Paulina admitted she was pulling for Johnny before Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) chose Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) instead, so Johnny may hope there’s still a chance to change Chanel’s mind.
However, Chanel thought long and hard before she made her decision.
Johnny could make things worse if he doesn’t accept Chanel’s choice – and down-the-road Days spoilers hint about Johnny potentially hooking up with Ava anyway!
Over with Sarah, she’ll undergo hypnosis and try to retrieve some memories from the night Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) died.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will take Sarah back to that evening in her own mind, but she’ll remember some confusing details.
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will be there to support Sarah after her session and may help her nail down a theory.
Will Sarah remember seeing herself at the DiMera mansion – like from the outside looking in?
This could be a tale of two Sarahs since Gwen will be shown with her Sarah mask during the week of August 1-5.
We’ll see Gwen holding that mask looking rather guilty in her motel room.
Gwen was likely the one Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) saw running out of the house, but we highly doubt she’s the killer.
Instead, Gwen probably donned her Sarah mask intending to kill Abigail, but then panicked when she realized someone else had already beaten her to it.
Of course, there’s a chance the real Sarah wasn’t at the mansion at all since Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will ultimately get involved.
Rex has info about Sarah’s whereabouts that night, so maybe he could help clear her.
In his secret lab, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) won’t be able to save Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), but he’ll reveal an alternative plan that blows Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) away.
