General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, December 2 Recap – Sonny’s Arrest Deal – Cyrus Exposes Victor – Nina Vows to Stay Away

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, December 2, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made an arrest deal of sorts while Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) exposed Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) attack. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) also vowed to stay away, so let’s talk about Friday’s exciting episode.

In Sonny’s office, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pointed out that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was right about him kidnapping Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and having him roughed up.

Dante looked the other way, but now he was frustrated since Sonny was keeping secrets about aiding Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) escape.

It was hard since the line between being a son and a cop was starting to blur.

Dante thought there might come a time when Sonny’s employee wasn’t so protective and the situation couldn’t be covered up.

Sonny assured Dante that if he was forced to arrest him one day, he wouldn’t love him any less.

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) worried to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about the possibility that he could face criminal charges along with Carly.

Michael and Drew agreed to do what they could to mend fences with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

Drew also admitted he was romantically involved with Carly and that they were keeping things private to avoid making matters worse.

When Drew suggested maybe it wasn’t the right time to be a couple, Michael launched a heavy speech about how it might be the only time they had.

Michael insisted that years or decades weren’t guaranteed, so Drew wondered if this was about the rift with Sonny.

Since Michael didn’t want to spill what was happening with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), he just acted like the Sonny situation made him value his family even more.

If Carly and Drew wanted to hide their romance, that was fine. However, Michael didn’t think Drew and Carly should pass on a chance at something really good.

At Dex’s place, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) saw for herself that his wound had almost healed and urged him to put a shirt on.

Dex hinted that Joss had seen him in less and thought it was a shame he’d been too feverish to do anything besides sleep in her bed.

Josslyn suggested there was always next time as the two of them flirted. Dex eventually thought back to Michael’s warning and tried to convince Josslyn to bail on him.

When Joss refused and pushed for honesty, Dex planted a kiss on her. Moments later, Sonny started banging on the door and told Dex to open up.

In Rice Plaza, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) worked on the Christmas decorations and talked about being able to smile over failed dreams as more time passed.

Soon after, Dante caught up with Sam and expressed concern over the future of his relationship with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) based on what was happening with Sonny.

Sam offered reassurance since she’d seen how good Dante and Rocco were together.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Carly urged Willow to open her eyes following her collapse. Nina wanted to call 911, but Willow jolted up to shut down the idea.

Carly stepped outside with Nina and knew she didn’t mean for this to happen.

That said, Carly thought Nina needed to accept that she was upsetting Willow and should keep her distance.

When Nina met back up with Sasha, she worried that maybe she was as awful as Willow thought.

Nina knew how to fix her latest mistake and said she’d stay away since Carly was right.

Back with Carly, she thought Willow seemed OK after checking the portable fetal monitor and Willow’s blood pressure.

Even so, Carly really felt Willow should see her doctor at GH – and Michael agreed once he got updates on her fainting spell.

Once he was alone with Willow, Michael left a message for Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and found out Willow collapsed after a fight with Nina.

Although Michael wasn’t happy about Nina upsetting Willow, he also didn’t think she would’ve done that if she’d known about the chemo.

Since people needed to understand and Willow needed a bone marrow donor, Michael felt it was time for them to start spreading the leukemia news.

After Carly met up with Drew, he gave her a big kiss and suggested they should take full advantage of the time they were lucky to have together.

Carly and Drew’s make-out session was interrupted by a phone notification – so Drew admitted he had a new lead on Willow’s birth parents which freaked out Carly.

At Pentonville, Victor made a phone call about how important it was to find the Ice Princess diamonds, which were pivotal to his next step.

Victor then turned his attention to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), who didn’t think Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) wanted to see him.

Sure enough, Spencer fumed at the sight of Nikolas and told the guard that he wanted to return to his cell.

Victor insisted that the Cassadines always come together and convinced Spencer to hear Nikolas out.

Nikolas was sorry for breaking Spencer’s heart and gave his word that he’d never hurt Spencer again if he let his father back in.

Spencer wasn’t interested in another disingenuous speech, so Nikolas left.

Although Victor was all powerful on the outside, Spencer hinted that he had some competition in there.

Cyrus appeared since Spencer was late for their chess game and played up how they were family.

Victor got an introduction and realized this was the infamous Cyrus Renault that he’d heard about.

Cyrus blamed Victor for his attack on Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so Spencer was taken aback.

Victor reminded Spencer of Cyrus’ crimes, but Cyrus said he didn’t hear a denial about Victor’s own.

After Victor warned Cyrus that he didn’t want him as an enemy, he also urged Spencer to guard his pawns – especially since a knight wouldn’t always be there to rescue him.

Once Victor was gone, Cyrus was sorry Spencer had to learn about his attack on Martin and Laura that way.

Spencer decided he wasn’t in the mood for chess after that revelation and went off to sulk alone.

General Hospital spoilers say Spencer will need to be careful about who his allies are, so stick with the ABC soap!
