General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, January 14 Update – Britt Deceives Dante – Michael Can’t Forgive – Ava Warns Nina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, January 14, teases that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will deceive Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) insists that he can’t forgive. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also warn Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about a risky move, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

At Crimson, Nina will be prepared to go up against Michael in court if she has to.

Nina wasn’t interested in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) suggestion of giving up her legal claim to Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and intends to fight for visitation instead.

That’s why Nina called Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for help, but he’ll want Nina to be certain she’s ready for the backlash.

Martin may point out that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) still has feelings for Nina, but those could dry up fast if she goes after his grandson.

However, Nina will argue that Wiley is her grandson, too.

Nina may have a hunch that Sonny will understand her perspective, but Ava won’t be so sure when she walks in on this discussion.

Ava will feel like Nina’s going to be poking the hornet’s nest if she pursues visitation rights.

Ava will understand Nina’s frustration, but she might think it’s best to let things cool down before doing something this risky. Nevertheless, Nina seems pretty determined and may end up standing her ground.

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will wish he could find a way to patch things up with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and get their marriage back on track.

Sonny just wants to put Nixon Falls behind him and move on – or so he claims.

Michael may not fully believe that due to Sonny’s persistent need to defend Nina.

Michael may complain about Sonny not even feeling like the victim of a crime and rant about Nina getting off scot-free.

Sonny might try to make Michael see that things are complicated, but Michael won’t be willing to budge an inch when it comes to Nina.

Michael will think she’s done unforgivable things and will refuse to give her a pass for them.

When Michael learns Carly moved out, he should side with his mom.

Michael hates Nina’s guts and will think Sonny needs to find a way to put his feelings for her to rest permanently.

As for Carly, she’ll let Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) know she’s sorry for being so harsh on New Year’s Eve.

Carly snapped at Drew on the footbridge and mostly rejected his attempts to comfort her, so she’ll apologize and hope they can move past her rudeness.

Drew will understand that Carly’s been going through a lot, so he may insist no apology is necessary. He’ll still want to help, so he’ll once again offer to listen – and Carly will hopefully take him up on the offer this time around.

At home, Laura will hold a family meeting and count on it to pay off.

Laura will be sick of all the tension between Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so she’ll sit them down and push for reconciliation – especially since Spencer’s about to spend a month at Spring Ridge.

Laura will feel like this ordeal would be easier on both of them if Nikolas and Spencer could find common ground.

Laura will fight hard for Spencer and Nikolas’ reconnection, but it’ll be up to them to make this a genuine effort.

As for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she’ll endure a grilling session related to her Spring Ridge internship and her favorite inmate.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will grow concerned about how often Esme is in Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) orbit and may grow more curious about her agenda.

Next on Friday’s GH episode, Britt will cover up the secret Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) spilled when Dante arrives with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) news.

Dante will pass along some updates, but Britt will leave him in the dark on Brad poisoning Peter behind bars.

Finally, Dante will land in a situation where he’s forced to play referee. He may walk in on a war zone if Michael and Sonny can’t call some sort of truce on Nina.

Dante has been doing his best to be there for Sonny and cut his father some slack, so he may think Michael needs to do the same.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny’s problems will get worse before they get better since he’s going off his meds, so stay tuned.
