General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 6, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a new job for Dex (Evan Hofer) while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) demands Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) attention. Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) confession will also anger Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
For starters, someone will seek Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) out – and she won’t be happy about it!
“What the hell are you doing here?” Sasha says with a look of disgust in Friday’s preview video.
It’s possible that relentless photographer will track Sasha down again or perhaps Grant Smoltz (David Lautman). However, Sasha will seem more irritated than rattled, so maybe it’ll just turn out to be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Valentin will do Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) a favor, so that should tie in with Sasha’s storyline.
We might see Valentin avert the media crisis and offer to help Glady find out what’s on the memory card as well.
It doesn’t look like Gladys will find out Sasha’s been popping pills just yet, so Valentin might gently confront Sasha himself.
Sasha flushed her remaining pills, but there’s always a chance she’ll get more and head down a risky road again.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will also reach out to someone for help since Sasha’s drowning in guilt and pain.
Brando want to keep Sasha afloat, so he’ll turn to a familiar face and hope they know what to do.
It could be Sonny who offers guidance to Brando, but he’ll have another matter to take care of on Friday, May 6.
Dex was Chet Driscoll’s (Chris Van Etten) temporary replacement at the boxing gym and is hoping for a more permanent gig now that Chet’s back.
Although Sonny didn’t initially have any jobs available, he changed his mind once he saw how Dex handled those unruly guys in the ring.
Sonny was impressed, so he’ll speak with Dex privately about a job within his organization.
“If that’s a problem, we stop right now,” Sonny insists in Friday’s preview video.
It sounds like Sonny will want to make sure Dex is OK with a position that’s a little less lawful than working in a gym.
Dex seems quite eager for steady work, so he should assure Sonny he’s all in. It probably won’t be long until Sonny officially hires Dex in a more permanent capacity and shakes on the deal.
At the nail salon, Nina will find Scott enjoying some me time.
Nina will want Scott to devote all his attention to her instead, so this should bring an urgent strategy session ahead of the visitation hearing.
Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) criminal behavior could be helpful if Nina’s willing to get cutthroat and use that in court.
There’s no denying that Nina looks like a less dangerous grandma by comparison!
Nevertheless, Harmony – a woman who killed two people and tried to kill two more – acted like Nina was the real danger here.
As a result, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will keep her mouth shut about the shocking bio mom connection despite the grilling session Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) puts her through.
Back at GH, Curtis will admit he got his hands on the info in Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) sealed arrest record.
Jordan will demand to know how Curtis pulled that off when she told him no.
After Jordan lashes out over Curtis’ less-than-legal methods, she might suspect Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was involved since they crossed paths at The Savoy recently.
Jordan will feel like Curtis is begging for trouble, but he’ll think he did what he had to do.
Curtis may act like none of it matters now since Marshall left town, but Marshall’s story is far from over!
