General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could be gearing up for a sister shocker. Will sibling drama erupt after Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) long-lost daughter revelation?
There have been some strong hints about who Esme’s mother is – and all signs currently point to Felicia.
Of course, it’s possible Felicia is a red herring, but this biological bombshell makes sense considering Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) recent flashback and reflection on Esme’s strong-willed mom.
GH writers’ real mystery may be whether Esme truly belongs to Ryan since there have been clues about Mac Scorpio (John J. York) potentially getting a biological child.
Regardless, there’s another important factor to consider either way.
If Esme is indeed Felicia’s daughter, then that makes her Maxie’s half-sister.
Maxie finally got rid of one threat to the people she loves when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) faced a grim fate, but Esme could be the next nightmare to come along.
Esme is certainly a dangerous wildcard, so Maxie may be hesitant to just embrace her with open arms.
That’s especially true since all Esme’s dirty deeds should be exposed down the road. Esme’s going to stir up even more trouble – and then all her scheming with Ryan will inevitably come out, too.
Maxie will surely be wary of Esme and the possibility that she’ll manipulate Felicia.
Perhaps Maxie will see shades of obsessed Peter, who was so desperate for a family that he spiraled out of control.
A real family is what Esme’s always wanted as well, so what happens once she gets a chance at it?
Esme could try to drive a wedge between Felicia and Maxie if she feels like Maxie might hinder her progress.
Maxie could become a new enemy for Esme and set up a fresh feud.
Although Maxie plans to enjoy this Peter-free chapter of her life, she could be thrown a curveball once Esme becomes part of the fam!
