General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 18, teases that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) mystery box clues could spell trouble while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) threatens to kill Esme Prince (Avery Pohl). Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will also get a risky offer, so there’ll be some big things happening on Tuesday’s GH episode.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wants to teach Lucy a lesson, so he’ll offer a dangerous midnight cruise and lure her down to the docks for a trap.
Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will worry Victor is going to kill him since he’s arranged a sudden solo flight.
Victor claims he’s going to let Valentin see Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain), but Valentin will suspect his death is the goal.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will get updates on what could be Valentin’s doomed plane ride.
Victor indeed hinted to someone over the phone about another orchestrated tragedy – just like the cable car disaster that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) landed in.
After Valentin leaves, Anna will make a tearful phone call to someone and hope it’s not too late to save Valentin’s life.
Since Anna has fallen hard for Valentin, she’ll do everything she can to get him out of this mess.
As for Esme, she’ll still be in a mess of her own. Nikolas locked Esme in Wyndemere’s storage wing, but she’ll try to gain an advantage thanks to a candlestick and the element of surprise.
Esme thinks her pregnancy protects her, but Nik will warn that she’s expendable and may add that it’s wise not to test him on this.
Once Esme realizes how dire things are, she’ll realize she needs to strike Nikolas and escape while she still can.
Even if Esme can get past Nik, another obstacle awaits.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will apparently advise Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) on her divorce, which is back on out of nowhere thanks to Victor.
That’s bound to anger Ava and leave her eager for answers, so she’ll plan to corner Nik at Wyndemere soon.
Since we know Esme’s win will be short-lived, Ava’s arrival could easily derail her getaway plan.
In Britt’s suite, she may have second thoughts about examining the contents of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) personal effects box.
Britt decided to hang onto it and perhaps figure out why Peter really left her his last possessions, but this could end in catastrophe.
All roads typically lead to bad news when it comes to Peter, but Cody will push Britt to solve the mystery.
After Cody talks about finding something when you least expect it, there’ll be more flying sparks with Britt.
It’s possible Britt and Cody will take things to the next steamy level in her bed, but they’ll at least team up on this mystery box situation.
Cody obviously has an agenda when it comes to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and his bloodline, so Britt should probably be careful with her heart.
