General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, February 23, tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will likely fight for that dropped gun once he regains consciousness – and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have some love advice for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also have a new crisis to tackle, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
At GH, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will tell himself that the only thing that matters is Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) getting home safe.
Austin will end up seeking updates from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), but they may not have anything new to report.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will remain worried about the danger in Switzerland, especially since Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) went against Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) advice and took off on her own search for Maxie.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will also fret over Felicia’s safety and will certainly have some of the same questions as Robert.
They’ll both hope that Maxie, Felicia, Anna, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) all make it back to Port Charles.
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll be looking for the latest Maxie news as well.
Brook Lynn will ask someone what he’s done now, so she may think Austin has created more complications.
Next, GH will repeat Tuesday’s cliffhanger and once again showing Felicia leaping into action to save Maxie.
Felicia attacked Peter from behind and made sure he took a terrible tumble – one that caused him to drop his gun and seemingly lose consciousness.
On Wednesday, Maxie and Felicia may approach Peter thinking he’s dead.
Peter could easily jolt up and go for the gun he dropped instead, so that might lead to a struggle.
Since Felicia already had her heroic moment, maybe it’s Maxie’s turn to finish this once and for all.
Will Maxie and Peter wrestle over the gun until it goes off – finally killing Peter and ending this nightmare?
Of course, it’s also possible Drew will show up just in time to do the deadly honors.
Whatever the case, it looks like Peter will truly be deceased by the end of Wednesday’s show.
At Charlie’s Pub, Sonny will arrive to drink himself into oblivion.
Sonny caved on Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) divorce demands, but this obviously isn’t the outcome he wanted.
Before Sonny gets too drunk, he’ll have some words of wisdom for Brando.
Although Sasha Gilmore (Helena Mattsson) will continue to focus on work, Sonny will warn that time apart isn’t good for anyone.
Sonny will speak from personal experience and will suggest Brando has to push for more opportunities to talk.
Brando seemed to make some progress during his last conversation with Sasha, so Sonny may contend that he has to keep the momentum going.
Nina will spot Sonny at the bar and want to comfort him, but she’ll get sidetracked by a discussion with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
Lucy will want to talk to Nina about Sasha, so maybe they’ll decide to have a little chat with her about the workaholic she’s turned into.
It’d be better for Sasha to find a better balance between her personal and professional life – that way she could truly move forward with Brando.
Fortunately, Sasha and Brando will indeed take some steps in a positive direction soon.
General Hospital spoilers say Brando will hold out hope for a bright future with Sasha, so she’ll try to give him that.
