General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, November 9, tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will be unconscious after a crash – and “The Hook” will strike a new victim. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will also push Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to trust him, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At GH, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will demand to know what’s going on now that he’s walked in on TJ and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) emotional moment. TJ will give the two of them some privacy, so that’ll give Willow a chance to drop the leukemia bomb on Michael.
While Willow explains her decision to wait and reveals that she now has stage 4 cancer, Sonny will corner TJ for answers. TJ will admit it’s not his story to tell and urge Sonny to trust him, so Sonny may admit that he does.
Over with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), he’ll likely claim he’s not Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) son, but will that really be true? Cody stepped away to read the paternity test results himself and has a strong motive to lie since a $35 million necklace is on the line.
That necklace was probably stolen by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and previously belonged to Leopold Taub (Charles Lucia). In other words, it’s in the best interest of Cody’s bank account if he claims Mac isn’t his bio dad – even if the results confirm he’s a Scorpio.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will act like Cody might’ve dodged a bullet, so she may play up how complicated families can be. Mac will be glad that they at least know the truth, but there’s a good chance Cody will be concealing his real paternity for the sake of that giant inheritance.
Next, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will make time for someone and expect someone else to do the same. Maybe Dante will sense something is bothering guilty Cody and grill him in the aftermath of all this.
However, Dante and Mac will get called away due to the prison transport crash. Dex lost control thanks to the legit guard pulling a gun on him, so he’ll be unconscious behind the wheel on Wednesday’s episode.
When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) doesn’t show up at the designated spot, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will naturally grow concerned about her.
Of course, this van accident will give both Anna and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) the chance to go on the run separately.
As for Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), she’s also given Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) the slip at Wyndemere, but she’s hanging around on the property since she doesn’t want Nik to get away with what he did to her.
That decision could prove costly since Nikolas will get on the phone with someone and insist Esme is nowhere to be found. Nikolas will launch a search for Esme and grow increasingly determined to regain control of his pregnant hostage.
It’s doubtful Esme is “The Hook,” but things may look bad for her since she could be missing when this criminal strikes again. Someone will be targeted in Wednesday’s episode, so the drama’s about to heat up.
Finally, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will push Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to just say the words, so it sounds like Liz may be breaking up with him. After everything that happened with Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara) on the Mariana Islands, Liz may not see a way forward as a couple.
