In tonight’s The Amazing Race episode, four teams have been brought from the south of France to Spain. The couples are dropped off on a small hill within a large brick circular building and must trek down a hillside. They head down a road into a small town center where they are tasked to piece together pictures and objects around them that make up a Picasso painting that is well known.
The other teams, Aubrey, David, Michael, and Marcus, are also dropped off. They make their way down the hill. Emily and Molly are extremely behind. Emily is in pain but works through it. Claire wins first after she pieces it together. They take off with their next destination. Michelle is frustrated. Aubrey gets it right next. This makes Michelle feel more defeated. After regrouping, she gets it right.
Claire and Derek head to their next mission, a fish fry. If they get it right they will get another clue. They ride on bikes. Derek hates riding a bike. He has crashed so many times before. He starts to go too slow. She asks him to move out of the way.
Emily and Molly finish the Picasso challenge while Marcus struggles to finish. Meanwhile, Derek watches several cooks prepare their fish for a fish fry. Claire is a vegan so this is his challenge.
Derek watches again how the fish fry is done. He starts to cook them while Marcus is back at the first challenge. He is extra frustrated. He finally gets it. They take off as fast as they can.
Molly and Emily miss a turn on their bikes. They finally get to their location and choose fish fry. Aubrey and David arrive too. They start to watch the fish fry prepare to begin. Luis and Michelle pick the boat supply challenge. They must bring ice and life jackets to the yacht. Meanwhile, Aubrey screams. She hates the feel of the fish.
Claire and Derek win their challenge and move on while Luis and Michelle head out to the water. They have trouble keeping it together with the waves fighting them. They managed to deliver the supplies safely. Aubrey and David also finish their challenge.
Emily and Molly are behind with the fish fry. Marcus and Michael show up. Emily and Molly fail and have to start over.
