The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 22, reveals that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to take charge of Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) life while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) made a money revelation.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) told Brooke that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was coming to pick Douglas up.
Although Douglas was just staying at the Forrester mansion for the night, Hope was concerned over this whole custody situation.
Brooke put the blame on Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and vowed to handle this right now.
At Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place, he was kissing Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) when Thomas, Taylor and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) interrupted.
There was talk about Douglas moving in soon, so Taylor thought it was long overdue for the father and son to spend time together.
When Thomas arrived at the cabin, Hope admitted Douglas wasn’t back from his friend’s house yet.
Hope acknowledged this was just an overnight visit, but she knew Thomas was wishing for more.
Thomas still thought Douglas should live with him, especially since Douglas said he missed his dad.
Hope argued that she could give Thomas and Douglas more time together, but Thomas seemed offended over her use of the word “give.”
However, Hope felt that that extra time needed to happen on Douglas’ schedule and in his current home.
Despite Thomas’ wishes, Hope was adamant that the cabin was where Douglas belonged.
Back with Eric, he talked to Ridge about the custody drama and the potential for conflict. Eric knew Ridge didn’t want to be caught between Brooke and Taylor.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he warned Sheila to hide in the bathroom and let his parole officer, Jordan (Steven Christopher Parker), inside.
Jordan thought Deacon seemed nervous and wondered if he had something to hide, but Deacon tried to play it cool.
After Sheila made a commotion in the bathroom, Jordan asked if someone was in there.
Through the door, Sheila spoke with a southern accent and said she was Deacon’s “lady friend.”
Jordan wanted to know who Deacon was associating with, but Deacon acted like this wasn’t going to be a regular thing.
Once Jordan got a call from his kid’s school, he had to rush off – though he urged Deacon to maybe give the new woman in his life a shot.
With the right person, Jordan thought a relationship could be a good influence on Deacon.
Afterward, Deacon tried to get rid of Sheila, but she suggested they should both slip into a hot bath instead.
Sheila didn’t want to go out on her own with no one to love and no one to love her.
Deacon realized that Sheila hadn’t given up on a relationship with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and obviously thought she was delusional.
When Deacon once again tried to kick Sheila out, she admitted she had a lot of money.
Sheila warned Deacon not to ask how she got it, but she invited him to give her a number and wondered how much he needed.
“How much you got?” Deacon asked, which brought a smile to Sheila’s face.
At the cliff house on Monday’s B&B episode, Brooke arrived and confronted Taylor over her kiss with Ridge in Monaco.
After acknowledging that Taylor had changed, Brooke suggested that her rival wanted something more than when she first came to town.
Taylor said she wanted more for Ridge and that she wanted him to be happy.
Brooke claimed she wasn’t threatened by the kiss, but it bothered her when Taylor injected herself into things that affected her family – namely Hope and her children.
Taylor realized this was about Douglas, so Brooke warned there was no way she’d let Thomas pull Douglas out of his home and away from Hope.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor and Brooke’s war will escalate as this custody battle heats up, so stay tuned.
