The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will check in a mental health facility after her John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) grief becomes too much to bear.
B&B fans know Steffy put on a brave face when she spoke with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) via video chat.
As a result, Ridge and Taylor feel like Steffy is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances.
However, Steffy’s ordeal is taking more of an emotional toll than anyone realizes.
Since Steffy still feels so connected to Finn, that may be making things even harder.
The show highlighted Finn and Steffy’s cosmic bond recently, so that’s something Steffy will continue to deal with.
It has to be hard for Steffy to still feel so connected to her husband when she believes Finn is dead and gone forever.
Steffy will feel like she’s losing it and just won’t be able to handle this intense grief on her own.
Previous spoilers mentioned Steffy getting therapy while she was away, but it’ll go even further than that.
Steffy will check herself into a mental health facility during the week of July 18-22, so she’ll feel like she’s doing what’s best for herself and her children.
Amelia (Nicola Posener) the nanny will apparently stay with the kids – though we’d imagine this will be a facility that’s very willing to work with Steffy and make sure she still gets plenty of time with them.
Whatever the case, Steffy will have to put her mental health needs first for a while.
The most important thing will be working to get better, but Steffy will struggle to see a way forward without Finn by her side.
Fortunately, Finn is alive and will work to escape Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) captivity.
That won’t be an easy task, but Finn will be committed to scoring his freedom and getting the family reunion he’s dreaming of.
