The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 8, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) vowed that he had no desire for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) fumed over his double destiny failure.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he pretended to be in disbelief about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) being alive.
Deacon wondered what made Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) so sure that Sheila was still out there.
Finn and Steffy explained why they thought Sheila faked her death by bear attack.
Deacon was horrified as Finn pulled out a baggie containing Sheila’s toe and wondered if they were knocking on doors for information with that thing.
Steffy insisted it was just Deacon’s door and added that they were there to see if he could help find Sheila.
Deacon asked if they really thought the cops would reopen the case, so Steffy said that depended on whether they could prove Sheila wasn’t dead.
Both Finn and Steffy watched Deacon closely throughout this conversation – like they were suspicious and looking for signs of nervousness.
Steffy pointed out that Deacon knew Sheila and asked who else would cut off their own toe to fake their death.
After putting it under a microscope, Finn knew this toe had been sliced cleanly.
“By none other than Sheila Carter…unless she had help from someone else,” Steffy said on Thursday’s B&B episode.
Finn and Steffy pointed out that Deacon was an item with Sheila right after he got out of prison.
That was when Deacon and Sheila were spotted acting all lovey-dovey together at Il Giardino.
Deacon said that was a long time ago and downplayed the idea that they could be called an item.
Nevertheless, Sheila had very few friends in Los Angeles, so Steffy and Finn thought Deacon might know something.
Finn warned that not coming forward with info could get Deacon in trouble, though Steffy claimed they weren’t trying to accuse him of anything.
Deacon insisted that if Sheila was still alive, he had no idea where she was. Finn and Steffy decided to accept that, but they urged Deacon to reach out if he heard from Sheila since she was a dangerous woman.
After Deacon was alone, he looked panicked and frustrated over the situation Sheila had put him in.
At Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) found shirtless Carter changing and flirted over the pleasant surprise.
Since Brooke said Katie overheard Carter singing her praises, Katie admitted she indeed overheard and seemed touched.
Katie pointed out that she believed Carter when he said wonderful things to her. With Bill, Katie was never completely sure.
After Katie mentioned Bill’s latest impassioned plea, she said she told Bill the truth about moving on. It was hard for Katie to know she gave her heart to Bill and built a family with him when he was in love with her sister.
Katie wondered if there was just one man who wasn’t in love with Brooke – one guy who might want someone like her instead.
Carter assured Katie that he’d never been interested in Brooke and that Katie was the only Logan he had his eye on. Once Carter ran down a list of compliments, he pulled Katie in close for a kiss.
At Bill’s house, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) showed up to talk business and grew concerned when he saw the sword necklace.
Bill said it was just a piece of jewelry, but Liam argued that it was a metaphor and an omen of destruction.
Bill ended up flying into a rage over everybody moving on, including Brooke, Katie and even Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears).
After Bill ranted about getting stabbed in the back, Liam insisted it was OK for his dad to feel sorry for himself.
Bill got even more riled up, so Liam warned that this was his father’s ego talking – and when Bill’s ego was in charge, it got him in trouble.
Once Bill insisted that he was meant to be with either Katie or Brooke, Liam pointed out that he couldn’t have both.
Bill didn’t like anyone telling him what he could or couldn’t have.
After Bill fumed over caring for his loved ones and getting betrayals in return, he shouted that he was “Dollar Bill” Spencer.
Liam grabbed Bill’s arm and urged him to promise that he wouldn’t do anything drastic.
Bill glared at Liam’s hand and angrily rushed out after his son removed it.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will continue to battle fears about Bill’s dangerous side.
