General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, December 9, tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) will have a pitch for Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) rages at Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) gift. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may also call a truce, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
At Spring Ridge, Heather just let herself in Ryan’s room and said hello to “lover,” so they were obviously romantically entangled once upon a time.
That opens the door to the possibility that Heather is Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) biological mother.
Regardless, Heather is just as crazy as Ryan and most likely suspects that his locked-in syndrome is just an act.
GH spoilers say Heather will make a pitch to Ryan – and it looks like it’ll result in the two of them forming a twisted alliance.
At the hospital, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will assure Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that after his visit to Wyndemere, he’s even more convinced he’s on the right track.
Finn doesn’t trust Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and clearly thinks he’s holding back when it comes to Esme info.
It turns out Finn will spot something that shocks him in Friday’s episode, so that could be the prenatal vitamin bottle Liz placed nearby.
Finn may point out that Nikolas also had a prenatal vitamin bottle and start putting this puzzle together.
Since Finn suspects Esme could be on Spoon Island and knows Liz is a nurse, will he realize she’s playing nurse to pregnant Esme?
Even if Finn suspects Esme is carrying Spencer’s child instead, he could get pretty close to the truth about her being locked up.
At the Port Charles Grill, there’ll be plenty of awkwardness since Rory loudly told Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he loved her right as Spencer entered.
Things will go from bad to worse once Rory offers a gift to symbolize how he feels about Trina.
Spencer will make the wrong assumption, so he might see a small box and assume Rory is proposing with an engagement ring.
In reality, Rory may offer a different jewelry item – or maybe he’ll even have turtledoves like Spencer and steal his thunder.
Whatever the case, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will try to calm Spencer’s rage as he provides advice.
After Victor talks about something that makes all the difference in the world, Spencer will mull over his words of wisdom.
Next, Nina will try to make progress with Josslyn.
Although Nina knows she’s never going to be besties with Josslyn, it’d be nice if they could be in the same room without it erupting into war.
Nina will insist she can take it if Josslyn can, so maybe they’ll call some form of a truce.
In exchange, Nina might be willing to whisper in Sonny’s ear about going easy on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and letting him continue his bond with Josslyn.
Speaking of Dex, he’ll once again face Sonny’s disapproval.
Sonny will warn that some mistakes are too big to make and may argue that Dex isn’t up for the challenge of his new business project.
Of course, Dex knows this could be his shot at helping Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) take Sonny down, so he’ll work to convince Sonny he can be trusted.
Sonny will deliver a final warning to Dex and hope for the best, but there’s a good chance all this will end with Sonny’s arrest down the road!
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny’s world will face some shakeups in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned for more drama.
