The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, May 26, tease that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will spy Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) embrace. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) mom will also snap over questions about her son’s ashes, so plenty of drama’s brewing.
Before we dive in, we should point out that a special report caused a preemption for many B&B viewers on Wednesday, May 25.
The West Coast received an old wedding repeat, so that means the episode originally meant for Wednesday will now air on Thursday, May 26. Here’s what fans can look forward to.
At the cabin, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will talk to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about how freeing it’s been to find out Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) caused her fall off the wagon.
Hope will suggest that it’s just a matter of time until Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) comes home, but Brooke will focus on Steffy and the horrible loss she endured.
After Hope mentions that Liam is over at the cliff house, she’ll admit she actually agreed with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) on a few things recently.
Hope will talk about how Bill and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) are in Brooke’s corner when it comes to thinking Ridge overreacted.
The conversation will swing back to Liam, so Brooke will fish to find out how long he’s been gone and whether he’ll need to spend even more time at Steffy’s place.
Hope will think that sounds selfish and will trust Liam, who’s stepping up for Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) right now.
Brooke will still feel like Liam’s over at Steffy’s house a lot when she has family she could be leaning on.
Although Brooke will act like Steffy is vulnerable and latching onto Liam, Hope will insist there’s no need to worry.
At the cliff house, Steffy will rant about Finn being gone forever because of evil Sheila.
There’ll be talk about Finn’s ashes and how Steffy doesn’t even know if Li’s scattered them.
Liam will think Steffy deserves answers as Finn’s wife and will push her to get back in touch with Li.
Meanwhile, Li will dote on Finn and reassure him about regaining consciousness soon. Li will feel certain that Finn will be able to live his life again.
Once Li takes Steffy’s call, she’ll be eager to end the conversation.
However, Steffy will want to talk in person, so Li will agree to come over once more and will tell Finn to keep fighting before she goes.
Back with Steffy, she’ll speak to Liam about the tension with Li during her last visit.
Steffy will wish she could grieve with Li instead and convince her that they should lean on each other.
After Steffy mentions wanting a memorial service, Liam will decide he should get going.
Just outside the door, Li will arrive in time to witness Liam hugging Steffy. That’ll leave Li glaring over the exes’ close moment.
Once Li comes inside, she won’t seem very appreciative of Liam’s condolences. After Liam steps away, Li will find out that the kids know about Finn’s death.
Steffy will stun Li when she says she wants to see Finn, but she’ll quickly clarify that she doesn’t know where Li put him to rest.
That’ll lead to Steffy talking about how she didn’t have a chance to say goodbye since Finn was supposedly cremated while she was unconscious.
Steffy will also mention not knowing whether Finn’s ashes were scattered. It’ll set Li off as she snaps that her son is still with her.
Li will argue that she won’t let Finn go and add that there’s nothing she won’t do for him.
Li will claim to have a patient who needs her, so she’ll take off in a hurry and leave Steffy baffled.
Based on the walls Li’s putting up, Steffy will tell Liam that it’s almost like Li’s keeping something from her.
As Steffy continues to mourn and talks about feeling broken, Liam will pull her close and do his best to comfort her.
Once Li makes it back to comatose Finn, she’ll be glad Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) is too little to understand.
Li will look forward to Finn’s reunion with Hayes, but she’ll still seem agitated over what she witnessed between Steffy and Liam.
After Li points out that Finn took a bullet for Steffy, she’ll hope his wife stays worthy of his devotion to her.
