The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, May 26 Recap – Kyle Pays Diane’s Hotel Bill – Jack Tells Ashland Get Court Order

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 26, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will pay Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) hotel bill – and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will tell Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) to get a court order.

At Crimson Lights on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Diane will refuse to pay attention to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) criticism.

Although Diane will only care about Kyle’s opinion, Victor will think Kyle’s eventually going to realize she’s a narcissist who’s never going to change.

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also run into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at the coffeehouse, so that’ll lead to Chance praising him over his recent podcast.

In the park, Devon will spot Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Wilson) in his stroller.

There’ll be some sweet family moments, but Chance will spy nearby and seem to feel like an outsider.

Nevertheless, Chance will hide any insecurities he’s dealing with and reassure Abby later.

After Chance talks about having a much more natural bond with Dominic now, he’ll thank Abby for her patience.

At the Abbott house, Ashland will show up hoping to see Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), but Jack will think he was hoping to get around his blocked access while Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) were out.

Ashland will remind Jack that they have a legally binding agreement, but Jack won’t think any judge in town will consider Ashland a good influence.

When Ashland wonders if Jack’s really suggesting he get a court order to see his son, Jack will confirm that’s exactly what he’s suggesting.

At Society, Victor will meet up with Kyle and Summer, but Kyle will have to step away for a work call.

That’ll give Victor a chance to trash Diane to Summer and encourage her to make sure Kyle remembers his mother’s track record.

At The Grand Phoenix, Ashland will bump into Diane and complain about being kept away from Harrison.

Diane will think it’s obvious Harrison was surrounded by love from day one based on what a sweet child he is.

Phyllis will spot the interaction and won’t be surprised to see the schemers bonding.

When Ashland asks Diane to have a cup of coffee with him, Phyllis will remind her that it’s almost check-out time.

Diane will decline to avoid having her stuff thrown out on the sidewalk, so Ashland will suggest some other time then.

However, Diane will admit she’s returning to LA unless she hears from Kyle – and she sadly won’t expect to.

Back at Society, Kyle will get off his work call and talk about how everything’s lining up for the potential acquisition.

Although Kyle will love the idea of moving back home and having Harrison grow up around family, Summer will insist that doesn’t have to include Diane.

Kyle will assume Victor had something to say about that and will hate that Summer’s being pressured – though he’ll know she’s not trying to sway him.

In the end, Kyle will decide he has to stop this limbo, so he’ll resolve to make a choice and live with the consequences.

Soon after, Kyle will show up at The Grand Phoenix and ask Diane to stay in Genoa City. Phyllis will glare as Diane hugs Kyle excitedly and offers her gratitude.

Kyle will know there’ll be people who aren’t pleased with his decision, but he’ll want more time to see for himself if his mom’s changed.

Diane will be so thankful for this chance, but she’ll suggest somewhere less expensive when Kyle mentions the athletic club as a new place to stay.

Kyle will note that there’s no need to worry about that and will offer to cover the bill. Diane will argue that she can’t let Kyle do that, but Kyle will insist. Nearby, Phyllis will watch and listen as Kyle shares yet another warm moment with Diane.

Afterward, Kyle will give Summer updates on putting Diane up at the athletic club.

It’ll be the fair thing to do in Kyle’s opinion since he’s the one asking Diane to stick around.

Plus, Kyle always wanted to help Diane with her financial problems when he was younger, so he’ll be glad that he can finally do that.

Summer will think that’s touching, but she’ll hint about how it’s going to look to the naysayers.

Kyle will get that they’re going to interpret it as Diane using him and will mention that Phyllis wasn’t happy earlier.

At the Abbott house again, Phyllis will have a total meltdown over Kyle’s bad decisions and Diane’s unpredictability.

Although Phyllis will worry since she’s finally in a good place with Jack, he’ll swear nothing’s going to ruin it.

Phyllis will thank Jack for talking her off the ledge and will share a kiss with him as things turn passionate.

After Devon joins Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for their meeting at Crimson Lights, they’ll discuss finalizing some launch party details.

Lily will urge Nate to pitch the idea he mentioned, so Nate will suggest having new artists from Devon’s record label perform.

Devon will be offended over Nate not coming to him first and will think there may be drawbacks that Nate isn’t considering.

Y&R spoilers say Nate will try to smooth things over, but there’ll still be some tension as Devon leaves.

Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will eavesdrop on all this before cornering Nate alone.

That’ll get them talking about their similar sibling situations and the possibility that Devon still has a chip on his shoulder over Nate cheating with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

At the office, Lily will be upset with Billy for bottling up his feelings with her and sharing them with an audience on his podcast instead.

Billy will give Lily his word that he’s dealt with his issues and is all in on his position at Chancellor-Winters, but she’ll still seem uneasy.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Billy have more conflict on the way, so that could mean bad news for them as a couple!

CDL will have other terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates read up on, so pop back in soon.
