The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) could face dating app pressure if Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) pushes a new romance and life after Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
In the aftermath of Rey’s death, Chloe grew concerned over Chelsea’s behavior.
Chelsea has a tendency to get obsessed over things and spin out, so Chloe didn’t want to see her head down the wrong path again.
Since Chloe can tell Chelsea was falling in love with Rey, she’s trying to be sensitive to her friend’s grief and help as best as she can.
However, grief is a process that often comes with ups and downs.
Chelsea seems to be doing better now, but she’ll struggle with some setbacks that leave her distraught all over again.
Chloe will continue to support Chelsea in her time of need, but she may think dwelling on Rey’s demise isn’t doing any good.
How can Chelsea move on with her life if she’s fixating on a man who’s never coming back?
At some point, Chloe may decide to give Chelsea a nudge toward a new man.
Perhaps Chloe will suggest there’s someone perfect out there for Chelsea – someone who’s alive and actually available.
Even if Rey had survived, Chelsea would’ve had a hard time stealing his heart away from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Chloe may think Chelsea needs to avoid married men and find some single guy on a dating app.
After all, Chloe was pleasantly surprised by the success her mom found on a dating app not too long ago.
Although Chloe was nervous about Esther Valentine’s (Kate Linder) date with Dwight (Sam McMurray), that date went incredibly well and led to plans for a second one.
Now Chloe might have a little more faith in dating apps in general and try to rope Chelsea into finding a new guy on one.
Naturally, Chelsea might put up a fight and insist on wallowing in her misery a bit more.
Chelsea could reject this dating app notion entirely, but that may not stop Chloe from trying to help!
There have been some rumblings about Chelsea falling for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) next, so her trend of falling for married men may continue despite Chloe’s best efforts.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea’s love life could use an overhaul, so Y&R will hopefully deliver when the time is right.
