General Hospital Week of July 20 Update: Everything GH Fans Need to Know!

General Hospital Week of July 20 Update: Everything GH Fans Need to Know!

General Hospital (GH) preview update for the week of July 20-24 says that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will get some bad news and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be demoted.

Plus, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) keeps a secret from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

It’s another wild week in the land of Port Charles, so let’s break down what viewers can expect to see unravel.

First off, Brennan will have his fair share of ups and downs.

Off the cusp of that steamy kiss he shared with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), it looks like the two will be up to so much more (wink, wink) earlier in the week.

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, July 20, hint that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will make an unpleasant discovery, so will she catch Brennan and Nina in some sort of act?

With that said, Brennan will also get some bad news and deliver it later on in the week.

Does this have something to do with his missing black box?

Either way, Nina will present a crazy idea as the week progresses, so they may devise a plan to try to steal it.

As fans know, Valentin has Brennan’s big black box, and while Carly won’t like the idea of him having a WSB anything in her home, he’ll dig his heels in and convince her that he knows what he’s doing.

As the days go by, Valentin will lay out his plan.

It’s unclear if he’ll be able to get that box open this week, but if he does, he’ll soon realize that this doesn’t have secrets from Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) but is of value to Brennan.

Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 20-24 hint that Carly will keep a secret from Valentin.

Is this about Brick’s (Stephen A. Smith) investigation?

Brick agreed to help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) dig damaging intel about Valentin but refused to go behind Carly’s back.

Brick’s deal was that he present the information directly to Carly.

So, will Carly find out and decide to hide this from Valentin?

In related teasers, Sonny will get some encouraging news mid-week, so maybe Brick’s already gathered some intel on Valentin.

In addition, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will meet up with her former father-in-law and tell him that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), not Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), was the one who shot Cullum.

This will prompt the mob boss to have a heart-to-heart with his grandson.

Over at the PCPD, it’ll be a flurry of activity as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) returns to work, which means Dante will step down as Police Commissioner.

The first order of business for Anna will be receiving a warning from Brennan, so will this be something laced with good intentions, or a threat to stay out of the WSB’s way?

As the days go by, Anna will present Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) with an offer, and there’s a good chance he’ll get his old detective job back.

Dante will test Chase in the days ahead, so he may want to make sure the man’s loyalties lie with the PCPD.

In addition, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will give Dante some intel, while Dante will also have a suggestion that shocks Lulu.

Across town, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) will bump into each other again, so will the two have another heated confrontation?

Whatever the case, it feels as if Britt will attempt to get her job back at the hospital, but considering her actions when she was last there, she’ll receive some tough love.

Britt could be demoted, or on probation … or both!

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will also offer an apology to someone, so maybe he says he’s sorry to Britt about that “I liked you better when you thought you were dying” comment.

Back to Willow, General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 20-24 indicate that she’ll get challenged by Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

All arrows point toward this being about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Liz has been pushing to expand Drew’s communication tools, but also been speculating about the house being the reason why he hasn’t recovered.

After all, Brennan ‘miraculously’ got better from his stroke, in the same house, and Drew’s still the same.

Little does Liz know, right? Regardless, the nurse had better be careful not to push Willow that hard, as she has no idea what the woman is capable of.

Elsewhere, Willow’s ex-husband, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), will get caught off guard by something or someone, so is this about his ex-wife?

As the week progresses, Michael compares notes with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), so what could this be about?

Speaking of shockers, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will surprise Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so here’s hoping this is a ‘good’ surprise and not a ‘bad’ one.

Aunt Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) warned the co-parents to keep their eyes on the prize – the baby’s well-being.

Fingers crossed that both Portia and Curtis stay on track with creating a calm, positive, and drama-free environment for the newborn!

Lastly, as Friday, July 24 hits, Jason and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will return to town.

General Hospital spoilers suggest that the two needed this father-son time away from the world, so it’ll be nice to see Jason and Danny return to PC, united.
