The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 10 to August 21, reveal that some setbacks are brewing for some Genoa City residents while secrets continue to cause drama, so there’ll be a lot happening on the CBS soap.
During the week of August 10-14, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have an awful nightmare that explores his fears about ruining his family and causing everyone pain.
Once Nick wakes up, he’ll meet a mysterious woman named Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) and get pulled into another rock bottom after they apparently do drugs together.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll get Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) support as she frets over Nick.
Kyle and Victoria will be tempted to share a smooch as their bond takes a deeper turn.
As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), they’ll have some worries about Nick as well.
It’s clear that Nick needs to truly commit to his recovery if he wants to get his life back on track.
Across town, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will deliver a shocker during a conversation with his family.
Will Devon decide to give up a large portion of his inheritance since he doesn’t like the person he’s become with all that money?
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also encourage Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to restart his medical career if that’s what he truly wants.
While Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) try to work through some problems related to their history, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) a warning about Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest obsession.
Billy is stuck on the idea that Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) has a secret hidden at Chancellor – one involving the company’s previous bankruptcy and the benefactor who stepped up to save the day.
Billy will eventually open up to Jack and Kyle about his quest to uncover the whole story, but Jack may worry about Billy’s fixation blowing up everything good in his life – especially his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Cane and Lily’s relationship will also end up strained after Billy stirs up trouble between them.
The week of August 17-21 may bring Cane’s attempt to smooth things over with Lily and keep their romance moving in the right direction.
As for Nick, he may finally accept that rehab is the only path forward and encourage Marie to join him in getting clean.
Marie and Nick’s connection could leave Nick’s loved ones concerned, especially Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Back with Kyle and Victoria, Y&R spoilers suggest they’ll face more temptation.
Victoria and Kyle may surrender to it at some point, so that could involve a lip lock or maybe even some time between the sheets eventually.
How long will Kyle and Victoria be able to keep their sizzling desires under wraps?
Victor certainly isn’t going to approve of this news – and neither will Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) once this secret inevitably leaks down the road.
Y&R should have Victor and Claire openly forbid this totally inappropriate relationship from blossoming.
