The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for the week of October 5-9 indicates that there’ll be a special guest who hits town. Y&R fans will also see some pressure regarding a big secret and an agreement between enemies who have become friends.
After Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) tells Devon Winters (Bryton James) about her cancer possibly coming back, she’ll decide to wait on telling Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Cane will get confirmation that there’s a secret, but Lily will make him wait to learn what it is.
As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll back up Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) story with Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) and do everything in his power to keep Nick out of trouble for what happened to Joe (Chris Grant Wenchall).
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will put Nick through a grilling session as she tries to get to the bottom of the situation.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will also strike a deal with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
There’ll be some pact between the pair, so Phyllis and Sharon will agree to move forward as pals again now that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has left town.
However, Matt could soon be on his way back to Genoa City since his Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) plot will end in catastrophe.
Patty will cause a car wreck when she realizes Matt’s real goal of running off with her was to pressure her to surrender to the police.
Once Patty vanishes, Matt may realize there’s a good chance she’s about to cause more turmoil in GC and vow to stop her.
Back in Genoa City, Audra Charles (Zuleka Silver) will deliver a stern warning to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) ahead of the wedding.
Audra will also work hard to pull off a spectacular bachelorette party for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who’ll have a sweet reunion with her sister, Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell), on this special occasion.
Of course, if any news comes to light regarding Patty and the potential for her to ruin the wedding, that could leave Sally on edge.
There’ll indeed be a crisis at the bachelorette party that leaves Audra and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) willing to make peace.
At Billy’s bachelor bash, he’ll put up with Cane’s presence and prepare for his nuptials.
Sally and Billy have one last round of hostility coming up before the marriage ceremony begins, so we’ll see if they fight about Adam or something else.
Back with Cane, he’ll once again encourage Lily to be honest about what she’s dealing with.
Will Lily finally admit she’s waiting on lab results to tell her whether her cancer has returned?
