Holly already had a moment when she thought she saw Sophia in the town square.
It turned out to just be a lookalike, but DOOL was clearly setting the stage for the upcoming Sophia reveal.
Sophia indeed survived Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) wrath and her trip into the Salem River.
Now Sophia is living in Kentucky and serving up grub at a diner thanks to her fake “Amelia” identity.
Days spoilers say Kristen will track Sophia down in the October 9 episode, so that’ll bring some bickering between them.
However, Sophia may end up striking another shady deal with Kristen or at least surrendering to whatever threats Kristen might deliver.
One way or another, Days spoilers confirm that Sophia will return to Salem with Kristen, so she may text Holly some “see you soon” messages and leave her even more panicked.
This is no doubt building to a big moment when Holly and Sophia reunite after all this time.
Sophia has most likely been contemplating payback off-screen, so she’s probably found a way to blame Holly for everything that’s wrong in her life.
Days spoilers suggest Sophia could launch a risky confrontation with Holly as a result and plan to seek deadly revenge.
Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) has been viewing Sophia as a victim more than a perpetrator, but that could change once her demise is proven to be a fake-out.
That’s especially true since Sophia may be about to unleash her vengeful fury on Holly.
We could certainly imagine a scenario where Mason and Tate Black (Leo Howard) are forced to team up for Holly’s sake.
Tate and Mason may form a rescue alliance, so stay tuned to see if they might save Holly from Sophia’s revenge trap together.
