The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 6, teases that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) literally ran away from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) discovered the exes were in Aspen.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) up-for-sale home, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was on the phone with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) when she gaped out the window and revealed Ridge was outside with Taylor.
Thomas hoped that Ridge had finally reached his breaking point with Brooke and that he might be able to convince Taylor to get back together.
Steffy worried based on Taylor’s recent attitude, but she held out hope for her parents’ reunion.
Outside, Ridge admitted he came to see Taylor and told her that she looked good in the mountains.
Taylor said she came to get away from everything, so Ridge thought she really meant him.
After Ridge followed Taylor in the house, he insisted that he missed Taylor and their life together.
Taylor assumed the kids had guilt-tripped Ridge, but he said this was about Taylor and the woman that she was to him.
Ridge added that he was serious and that he was there because he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Taylor.
Meanwhile, Thomas flashed back to listening to the CPS call recording with Ridge – and he remembered how furious his dad was when Brooke wouldn’t come clean.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) decided he hadn’t properly thanked Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) for her portrait gift, so he suggested jetting off for a tropical getaway.
However, Eric called and found out Ridge had already taken the jet to Aspen.
Since Ridge didn’t tell anyone, Eric assumed the trip was unexpected.
Even so, Donna was troubled over the fact that Brooke hadn’t gone with her husband.
At Brooke’s house on Thursday’s B&B episode, she opened the door and was surprised to see Bill instead of Ridge.
Brooke warned that Bill couldn’t keep dropping by unannounced and worried since she thought Ridge would be home soon.
Bill talked about selling his Aspen home, but he assured Brooke that those mountains would always hold a special place in his heart.
After Bill revealed his offer to Steffy, he added that she was there with Taylor right now checking the place out.
Once Bill left, Brooke received a call from Donna and expected to hear about her Caribbean trip since she previously got a text.
Donna explained that the trip got canceled because Ridge took the jet to Aspen, so Brooke reeled in realization as she pointed out that’s where Taylor and Steffy were, too.
Back at the Aspen home, Taylor assumed Ridge must’ve had a doozy of a fight with Brooke.
After Taylor said she’d pass on being a second choice, she added that she’d rather be alone than be a consolation prize.
Ridge insisted nothing happened with Brooke and that this wasn’t about the kids either.
Although Ridge struggled to get a word in edgewise, he pushed Taylor to see that he loved her and wanted to be with her.
Ridge touched Taylor’s face, but she pulled away and ran out the door.
Despite Taylor’s warning not to follow, Ridge bolted after her into the woods anyway. Taylor finally stopped in a clearing and pushed Ridge to leave her alone.
Nevertheless, Ridge acknowledged that he let Taylor down in the past and vowed not to do that again.
Ridge argued that he meant what he said – that he loved Taylor and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will keep fighting for a future with Taylor, so stay tuned!
