The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, August 30 Recap – Steffy’s Nanny Treatment Enrages Hope – Brooke’s Paint Revenge

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 30, reveals that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) nanny treatment enraged Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) got paint revenge after Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) accidental attack.

At the cliff house, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) came back from a surf and shared some sweet, flirty moments with Steffy.

There was also talk about the Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) situation, so Finn asked how Hope was feeling about all this.

Steffy argued that gratitude was the only thing Hope should be feeling and acted like she should be happy Douglas is at the Forrester mansion.

Once Steffy reflected on their Monaco reunion again, Finn agreed it was a day they’d never forget.

At Brooke’s house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Hope admitted she was trying not to overreact.

However, Brooke wondered why Hope didn’t just go pick Douglas up herself.

Hope argued that she didn’t want to cause a scene and added that Douglas was excited over his mansion visit on the phone.

Brooke ranted about Taylor wanting Douglas to be taken away from Hope.

At Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place, Douglas was set up with an art project.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) eventually handed Douglas the phone so he could call Hope, so he got his mom on the phone and gushed over what a wonderful time he was having.

Once Douglas passed the phone back to Hope, she told Thomas it was time to bring Douglas home.

Thomas argued that Douglas’ home was where his father lived, but Hope countered that he’d already had longer than they originally agreed to.

Nevertheless, Thomas insisted they needed this time together and vowed to be in touch.

Once Thomas hung up, Hope filled Brooke in and didn’t know what to do. This was no way to co-parent, but Hope didn’t want to put Douglas through a court battle.

Brooke eventually decided she’d go deal with this herself, so Hope seemed nervous as she watched her mother stomp out the door.

After Taylor suggested a painting of outer space, Douglas realized he needed more black paint and glitter for that.

Thomas agreed to take Douglas to the store while Taylor was on a work call.

When Taylor disconnected, she found that Brooke had arrived. Brooke wasn’t surprised to see the ringleader behind this plan to take Douglas away from Hope.

After Brooke demanded to know when Douglas was coming home, Taylor acted like he’d be home when he walked through the door behind her.

Brooke and Taylor argued about Thomas’ history of instability, but Taylor didn’t think her son should be punished for the rest of his life.

Once Brooke suggested there was more in play here than just Douglas, she pointed out that Taylor wanted to create conflict in her marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Taylor denied that she’d use Douglas and insisted that he should be with his father.

As Taylor and Brooke’s argument escalated, Taylor swung her hand over and inadvertently flung some paint across Brooke’s outfit.

Although Taylor was amused by the accident, Brooke intentionally threw some paint in her rival’s direction, too.

Eventually, Brooke and Taylor just started squirting paint all over the place. That left the two of them covered in messy random colors.

Taylor laughed and said she wasn’t expecting this, so Brooke admitted she wasn’t expecting it either – just like she wasn’t expecting Taylor to try and steal her husband away once again!

At Forrester Creations, Hope showed up looking for Ridge and found Steffy instead.

Although Hope argued that she was Douglas’ adoptive mother and that she shared custody, Steffy wondered how much sharing was really going on.

Steffy noted that Douglas had been living at the cabin with Hope for a long time.

Although Hope had done a great job caring for Douglas, Steffy acted like it was time for a change.

Hope protested since Steffy was treating her like some nanny when she’d been raising Douglas – not to mention Thomas had done some messed up things.

Steffy insisted that Thomas had changed, but Hope countered that he wasn’t respecting the agreement they put in place.

When Steffy pointed out that Douglas was a Forrester and not a Logan, Hope wondered why this always had to turn into a war between the families.

Steffy ranted about Brooke being a master of disaster and made it clear that it was most definitely a matter of Forresters versus Logans.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas has more family support coming his way, so stay tuned.
